I'm doubting it now, although - what made TowersTimes so sure it was happening all those months ago? Care to explain guys?glen191 wrote: Is there going to be a rotating section of track as first thought when the ride was announced .

It was believed that the smiler was going for the inversion record and this was theorised by Boz i think and it just kind of caught ontemleh wrote:I'm doubting it now, although - what made TowersTimes so sure it was happening all those months ago? Because we couldn't see the alterations from the original plans, the washing machine concept was an idea to make up for all the missing inversions. After we saw from the aerial updates the changes - the inverted drops, indoor heartline, corkscrews - , it's completely pointless to have a washing machine. The aerial updates also clarified they'red be no room for a washing machine anyway.temleh wrote:I'm doubting it now, although - what made TowersTimes so sure it was happening all those months ago? TT claimed it was "confirmed" as someone's gran whose son works for tescos overheard someone working for merlin saying that it was definitely happening.

I haven't been to towers since scarefest so the only construction I have seen with my own eyes was the pit excavation.
So I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has posted construction updates since it started because without you the majority of us would not have had a clue what was going on.
But now it is nearly time to SMILE!!!
(even though I am constantly smiling through excitement of riding this beast)

Anyone on park tomorrow? i'm going to make a trip up for a few hours to see the crowning of the ride, i'll use it as closure after following its construction daily for over a year.

Yeah originally sounded like it would be tonight, but with the news of the topping off going on tomorrow looks like it will be tomorrow that MI7 will be up in the air.Hazbean wrote:She grew legs and married the Prince.Nathan Clulow97 wrote: I thought that we were having an Ariel update tonight
The aerial update will be tomorrow going from what TT said on Facebook earlier.

Just to clarify, the update is indeed scheduled for tomorrow, as opposed to this evening.
The rotating track theory was devised by Boz upon the team receiving numerous reports that the ride would be going for the inversion record, as it was considered the only* plausible way of achieving this.
*Obviously it wasn't!

Yeh. To be fair ,I didn't like the idea of being put through a quick wash. Too many bubbles.Sam198 wrote:No, there won't.Kieran141 wrote: So they will be no washing machine affect
We can be certain of that.

if there was a washing machine element i think it would just ruin the ride as its got sooo many inversions anyways

Yes he is, and Roodle should be on park too today. Maybe, they can take a photo of each other - MI7 from Roodle's perspective and Roodle from MI7's perspective :PThrillmad wrote:Mi7 is supposedly taking pic when the final track piece is in placeLiam-AltonTowers wrote: So is there an aerial construction update today?
