Lobster Pictures have said it isn't their time-lapse camera - but say it could be Time-Lapse Systems camera which they confirmed that it is theirs just an hour ago.

Apparently it is their 5th time lapse project at Alton Towers. Anyone know what the other 4 were?

I get the impression that they are stalling with construction so that they can "do an Oblivion" and build it in secret.. It wouldn't surprise me if this is all staged and planned out so that rapid construction can continue while the park is closed. Also, they were going to close Submission and Enterprise for the whole season to give them room, so the current timeline may be squeezed, just like the space... Once the park is closed, they can spread out and do what they need to, a lot quicker than they can currently work.

If Alton weren't confident with the opening date, they wouldn't release it with a countdown timer! We have to have faith in this project.. Alton have never let us down with a ride opening late (to my knowledge - even if they did open N:ST incomplete)

From their recent portfolio and going through their old blogs, 3 more were Sharkbait Reef, The Pink Concert and Thirteen. The Fifth I don't know, but I presume it was before November 2008.

Dont they have to have those temporary wooden walls up before they can pour any of the footers or walls?
I see the concrete that has gone in seems to follow that zig zag pattern that was dug in the other day:'- )

On Facebook on 'towers street' page there's tonnes of construction pics now of all the concrete going in

Can anyone mark on Google Maps the hole they've dug.  Looking at the plans this seems rather...off.
The plans show a hole which the station will sit in and small trenches for dips etc, however this hole seems to spread the entire site and must be at least what, 10-15 meters deep?

I wonder if there will be an underground section to the plans
