Not much in the way of juicy info, but it suggests something will happen on Halloween itself (the night where the living meets the dead).

aww beat me to it, doesn't help I accidentally skipped the video part way through. noticed the typo as well.

Not sure if the translation sheet I was using was up to date but the symbol for L was actually the symbol for I and the L symbol was a circle with a fork in it.

We need the rune translator from the Welcoming behind the scenes :lol One thing is that she says "globally unique" which is different to "world class" used before. Hmm.

So with that translation, I'm more inclined the backstory of the ride is to do with what I posted back here.

Fire, Cleansing, Pheonix, Rise from the Ashes, Rebirth of Man (not sexist, back to a simpler time.)

While this doesn't sound too exciting for a ride backstory if this is to be the case is actually a very thought-provoking subject.

A page has also been added to the minisite in relation to the recent London stunt. There's nothing new, but the last paragraph perhaps suggests something is planned for Halloween:

The maze itself is a prelude to SW8, exposing visitors to the elemental forces that will feature in the new attraction. On Halloween night, more members of the public will be singled-out by the unidentified figures and tasked with braving the terrifying maze attraction.

Sorry folks! Hey just cause I got there a little earlier doesn't mean you didn't put just as much work in. Well done everyone who figured it out! I just familiarised myself enough with the runes that I could just read it without having to decipher it, which is probably why I got there quicker.

And of course, we have a couple of updates to the alphabet... note the different I and K, and the addition of J and Y.

On a sidenote, now that we know what the J rune is... I was rushed through The Welcoming a bit too fast to have a chance to read the runes on the hanging vertical banners, but in the video runthrough that's been posted a few times, there aren't many good clear shots of the banners, but in the clearest one you can see "AJANE" on one of them. Just wondering what that could possibly mean... doesn't make much sense on its own, nor can I think of any word that ends in -ajane. Unless it's meant to be read upwards and it's ENAJA, but that still makes no sense. Maybe these banners are just red herrings with random runes, I dunno.

All I know for sure is I've been well and truly nerdsniped by this whole rune thing :P

Oh, that's a cool little easter egg! I'm just poking around for clues... I mean Theme Park Worldwide said they found a "wicker man" message in there somewhere, I'm just wondering where that was.
