Forum Post Quality

There have been some issues recently with both post quality and content, so as a team we'd like to draw your attention to a few polite reminders about posting on the forum:

Your posts

- 'Spellchekc' and proof read! Please ensure your posts are constructed in proper sentences, with capital letters and with correct spelling, punctuation and grammar.  Most browsers now include a spellcheck function which will automatically check spelling as you type.  Click the preview button and proof read your post before you click that post button.  The more effort you put into making your post presentable, the more effort people will put into reading it!

- Keep your cool! People's views can differ.  Without differing views, we wouldn't have much discussion.  But, ensure you don't simply dismiss other people's opinions when replying yourself.  Put your points across but do so with respect for others and without coming across as aggressive.  Ensure your posts are well thought out, don't get carried away and be sensible in your replies.  Re-read your posts before hitting that post button and ask yourself - would you want someone to speak to you like that?

Help us to help you

- Flag Posts As a team we can't read everything, so if you come across a post which you feel is unsuitable or a post which requires removal, flag it to a team member.  The flag post button is the easiest way to alert us to a post to allow us to review it.  It takes only a few seconds to do, and ensures that the forum's post quality is kept up to scratch.

- Remember what it's all about We're all on TowersTimes for the simple reason that we're passionate about theme parks.  However, don't let that passion get in the way of having fun!  Take part in discussion, get your point across but if things get too serious just take a step back and remember it's only a forum!  It's somewhere to enjoy yourself, have a laugh and relax - and certainly not to get stressed out :).

The team need to make sure TowersTimes remains enjoyable to everyone, and so we ask that everyone follows the above points and the Community Terms and Conditions.  We won't hesitate to take action against those who spoil the enjoyment for others on the site, and this could include removal of posting rights.

Finally, everyone is responsible for making TowersTimes Forum what it is.  It's your topics, and your replies that make the content.  Well thought out, quality posts by our members will result in replies which are far more likely to be just as well thought out.

Thanks for reading, and if anyone has any questions please drop me a PM :)
