Twas the night before Christmas and all across TowerTimes
not a member was stirring except an editor with bad rhymes.
The Advent Calendar had been opened with care
In the hopes that readers might find something rare.

In the midst of November, all was so quiet,
Since the Fireworks had come and gone like a riot.
With this it was known, and took not special powers
That the season had come to a close at the Towers

When out on the main site there arose such a clatter
Members sprung from the forum to see what was the matter.
They opened a window and hit ctrl F5
To discover what had made the site so alive.

The map on the breast of the new opened page,
Could have filled guests with fear and rage.
When suddenly they realised this wasn't SW7
But an advent calendar with 24 tiny doors (not eleven).

With a little old archivist, so awake and caffeinated
Who's quest for the past had been somewhat sated.
Secret Weapon concepts danced in his head
With the thought of the secrets that soon would be spread.

The updates had come all with hustle and bustle
And an awful lot of help from Di, Dave, Dan and Russell.
To bring to the forum tales of the past
From the very first day thru to the last.

"Now Spaceboat! Now, Ice Show! Now, Spinball and Battersea!
On, Katanga! On, Gloomy! On, Dolphin and Blivvy!
To the top of the Towers! To the top of the Drop!
Now Concept! Now Construct! And pictures from the top!"

He revealed the updates one after one
Until the doors fully opened and the calendar gone.
And he left a short poem afterwards, to be read
With the hope that Squiggles would soon be in bed

He sprang from his laptop, to the forum he waved,
And logged off for the season, as some nappage he craved
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he shut down the site,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night...?"

If you're a fan of old park entertainment, you really don't want to miss the Fifth Day of Christmas.

Many thank to Terry Cannon Moore for making today's rather exciting update possible.

Would it be possible for you to put a link to the Merrie England concepts on the Drawing Board page?

Thanks!

Im going to be spending this week tidying up links and making sure everything is in its rightful place, plus I have a few extra bits and bobs to add as well, including at least one more ME concept.

For now though the link is still available from the 12 Days and Advent Calendar pages.
