I'm a big fan of the early images of the Rapids. Thank you guys for the time taken to produce all of this.

I like how the TowersTimes produced Spinball concept art is ten times better and more professional looking than the two Alton Towers commissioned.
:yikes:
The ariel view of a newly built Nemesis is simply stunning! It's fasinating to compare it to today. I never realised just how close Thunder Looper was.
Thankyou guys!

So, the final door is now OPEN, and trust me, it's a real cracker... [/Christmaspun].
I feel that I may as well be the one to say an absolutely massive thanks to our very own DormiensDave who orchestrated the entire delving of the archives and the compilation of things for the Advent Calendar.
Huuuge thanks also go to Squiggles, who's been doing all the magic coding, writing, making-things-look-pretty, and unhinging the doors each day. To Di Jones and Alton Towers for allowing us to bring such a magical batch of exclusive content to the site, and for their hospitality, and to DanB and Russell for being wonderful photographers and meaning that these things could be seen by everyone .
(and thanks Chris for sneaking in one of the photos...)
I'd also like to wish EVERYONE a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Wow, what a great find behind the last door.
I can't wait to have an in-detail look at a point when I have more time. It seems like the original design was quite long and included several really cool details I hope reappear again. Not as good as Nemesis of course.
Thanks to everyone involved. Have a great Christmas!

I cant quite remember who found those, it was an exciting moment though
And we have had them confirmed by John Wardley as concept plans for SW1
