There's a 1200 result limit on searches, and 30 per page so it's not that that's causing it as, for example - searching for "Th13teen" brings back far more results. Leave it with me, I shall investimagate

When Im on the ipad I cant use the 'jump to' menu drop-down box.

It just loads up the current forum I am in.

Also its abit buggy on chrome too, when I click it, it suddenly extends to fit the rest of the text in.

Any thoughts?

Works fine on my chrome browser.

EDIT: Actually having a better look, I can see what you mean now. Yeah seems a tad buggy, but nothing major.

How do you turn on the formatting / smiley icons?

Fixed this issue using Chrome, in IE the countdown doesn't load and the post editor doesn't open...

For this post, the post formatting did load, but the Terry countdown are just black boxes...

Quick solution to this problem, don't use IE :P

Well I fixed the countdown bar, but the smiley and code buttons are still failing with an error in IE8.

Urgh, horrible browser!

The smiley and code buttons are loading more than they did before...

EDIT: Your right it's still hit and miss if they load, just logged out and back in and they don't load now...

Every now and then, I'll click the 'last post' for example where it says 'Nemesis Sub Terra', and it won't take me to the last post.

Last night, Astro had posted, I clicked on the topic title and went to a post by him from 2 pages back? I'd only just gone on the homepage too, so it seemed a bit weird?

I think that's a feature that should bring you to the last post that you have actually read, so that you don't have to skip back and find out what you last saw. For example if I haven't logged on in a few days and I click the last post button, it will take me to the first post I haven't seen, even if there are new ones after it.

A good feature that phpBB didn't have I believe. Really useful, especially in some of the very fast moving topics.

on some peoples posts it wont let me thank them... both on my ipad and computer... why is this?

You'll have to be a bit more specific than that I'm afraid :P

- Does it show the thanks button?
- Is there an error shown?
- When you click the thanks button does it show an error message?
- Who does it affect? Always the same people?
- You're not trying to thank yourself?
- Is it any particular page it happens on, or forum?

Any further help and I should be able to let you know hopefully, otherwise I don't have a clue at the moment sorry

oh sorry erm when i press thanks on peoples posts for instance on the N:ST topics it goes to white screen with "Error invalid post ID or you do not have permission to thank this post!" comes up every time i thank any one

is it something to do with me or something else...

Sorry had to steal access to your account there for a second :P

Well the good news is that I have bodged a fix for you, the bad news is that Craig needs to look into why you don't have permission to access the Alton Towers Future forum (although you do actually see it, theres some kind of permission glitch whereby when the thanks system tests if you can access that post theoretically, it fails!) :P

So I'll get him to look into that, but you should be fine for now
