Noticed a little bug with the tagging tag: if you tag more than one person, everything between the first and last tag (including the first tag, excluding the last) isn't shown. Still there, though, 'cause when you edit the post it's exactly as it was just before pressing submit.

Also, are the old smilies likely to make a return to the pop-up smily box at any point? I know they're still active, but unfortunately I have a memory like a seive, and can't remember the codes.
Joel

I've put the smilies back after much confusion about why they weren't showing.

I'll have a look into the tagging, but unfortunately it's a beta release script so unfortunately it does have some issues. I'll see if theres an update to it at least though that I can apply.

Woohoo! I've always loved the selection of smilies on TTF. Ta Joel.

Did wonder where the simlies had gone. Thank you for restoring them.

Here's a very strange little bug I've just stumbled over:

Was posting to the Doctor Who thread, pressed submit, and was told that Magrathea had posted since I'd started writing, and I might want to review it. Perfectly normal.

I then hit submit again, and was told that I had posted since I had started writing, and I might want to review, err, my own post. Without pressing submit again, I went back to the thread, and sure enough my post was already there.

Just FYI.

that has happened to me quite a few times too

I wasn't sure where to ask this but this seems as good a place as any.

I'm new here, like the forum a lot and would like to use and contribute but am finding it very frustrating at the moment.

It is incredibly slow, taking somewhere between 5 to 20 seconds after clicking for the next page to load. Any ideas what's causing this? The rest of the internet is like lightning, only here I'm having issues.

All this technology stuff is beyond me, is there anything I can do my end to speed things up? (using Google chrome btw)

TTF can be very moody sometimes. Slow one day quick another.

You'll find like today that everyone is finding it slow, I sure am where as other times it is very quick. Try just to grin and bear it it [s:7yjgl72p]will[/s:7yjgl72p] should speed up.

As said above everyone experiences the same issues with regards to the speed of the forums. There are a lot of things which can affect the speed TTF runs at like the amount of traffic, and the number of user trying to access the forums. There isn't really a lot that can be done as it's largely down to how much load the server can take.

Usually though any issues tend to right themselves after a while, so it just takes a bit a patience sometimes :P

If it's not possible to change the font size to over 150, is it possible to remove the "huge" option from the menu? :)

While we are at it the 2011: Team TT/TTF is out of date as some members in the list are no longer on the team.

Another question (sorry) - is there a reason the Quick Reply box isn't present in the RCT3 subforum? If not, is it possible to add it please? :D

Our lovely technical wizard (Joel) is on another continent at the moment having way too much fun, so although we have plans in place for any urgent fix's please dont be disheartened if any suggestions are not looked into immediately.

Please continue to put any thoughts in here though and they will be looked into ASAP

No excuse to be honest. What do we pay him for!!!! ....Oh wait! :P

Still running really slow, but I also know that Chrome are having problems with some of their latest releases and certain websites. Maybe if your using Chrome Dev version, your probably best using a a more stable version. (I have both :P)
