Th13teen had the most amazing smell in the station throughout last year, and I can still remember it. The smell somehow appeared one day in school and I literally squealed in excitement KFC also is a classic Alton smell for me, and djtruefitt, I wouldn't actually be surprised if they did that, hah!

Me & my friend always joke about how we ALWAYS without fail smell weed along the side of the towers towards Rita & Hex also the smell TH13TEEN had was amazing kind of like a new smell also the metal sort of smell you have on your hands after leaning on metal fences in the queue lines the list goes on

Don't know if it's already been mentioned or you all already know. But the smell in Hex isn't authentic (ie not the natural smell of the towers) it's a scent called Gothic Mansion that's sprayed into the attraction with smell canisters.

I always thought it just used to be the smell of the Towers because it's so old and all the dust etc but since my knowledge of attractions and providers have expanded and I've gained more contacts I've come to learn a few things.

Now I wish Alton would make some deodorant that smells like it. :P

Crafty tip: If you're missing Terror of The Towers (and the Spider crabs area of Sealife ) nip into Whittards and get a whiff of their Lap Sang Soo Chong tea ... it smells identical !

Before I forget, what is it about Rita's restraints that stink? The smell is a mixture between mouldy rubber and oil  :sick:

Ah yeah, I noticed that too, when I first rode it in 09 during the UG Drag Racing Era, I thought it added to the theme of it. :P
