I love the design of the site, best they've had in a long time...if not ever!

However, whilst browsing the themed rooms page, I found some quite bad spelling mistakes! I would have thought that the site would have had important areas like that proof read, its not very professional.

Apparently the splish splash room is themed with *SEE* and sands and their spelling of fridge is rather interesting.
That kinda needs sorting out. But other than that, BRILLIANT site!

Great new site well done Alton Towers :)
Thunder Looper can just be seen on Nemesis Video hehe :)
Whatever the weather outside it\'s always tropical at Cariba Creek

all of the videos of the rides now have sound. They have the screams of the riders, sound of the rides and the ride music in the background

I also noticed this yesterday. Seems a bit pointless on some videos, e.g. Th13teen, as the music doesn't really kick in for a while so by the time the video is finished the music is only just starting. Other than that, I really like the new website, although some links don't work. The Alton Towers logo effect at the beginning of the videos is really great. Well done Alton!

The ride noises on Air and Nemmie are annoying and rubbish...

It's the same 1 second soudbyte repeated again and again with an obvious cut... Just... ARGH!

I watched a few and yes the quality is brilliant and the sound is a bit choppy, but its an improvement from no sound and I assume they are trying to keep the loading time as minimal.

Just to let everyone know, I believe that for this year's ERT, Rita has replaced Sonic Spinball (according to the website that is).
Early Ride Time

Please note - Early Ride Time is not available during February Half-Term, Scarefest and Fireworks. If you book a main season Adult, Child or Family ticket online, you’ll benefit from Early Ride Time - enjoy a selection of the most popular rides and attractions between 9.00am and 10.00am, 1 hour before the park opens.

Early Ride Time for 2011 includes the following rides and attractions:

Oblivion
Nemesis
Marauder's Mayhem
Heave Ho!
Runaway Mine Train
Hex
Rita
Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE

Shame, ERT is about the only time I ever go on Spinball (unless it's wet and SRQ is short). Rita was often open by about 9.30 anyway, so that isn't much of a benefit.

With Ritas throughput and that it is next to Th13teen, I believe during ERT anyone waiting for 13 will go on Rita so it may get atleast a 15 minute queue during ERT

Is there a reason to why they dont operate the Sky Ride during ERT? or do they? I've never noticed but it would be helpfull if it was open to get to areas such as Dark Forest instead of all that walking!

So it's basically last year's ERT line-up but with Rita coming in for Spinball. Good call in my book, since a lot of people head straight for Th13teen, so that area gets busy very quickly, and I'm not particularly fussed over Spinball... it's a really poor ride.

I reckon my ERT will consist of Rita >> Oblivion >> Nemesis this year. :D

The skyride is not operational during ERT. I have no idea as to why though, it could be because it's often too dark or misty in the mornings, because they don't want to pay to operate it (most likely) or even so they don't have to open Nemesis until 9:20 as there's nobody there...
AstroDan

Spinball should still be open early I reckon... maybe they just don't want to advertise it. Spinball at least needs to open by 9.45am otherwise it'll be horrendous when the stampede kicks in.

I must be honest though, I was rather liking starting the day with Spinball - the queue most of the time prevented me bothering!

They ought to put Th13teen on, to be honest... it's almost like because it's still new, they can't - but really, such was the number of people waiting there before 10am - it would do well to just open for 9.00. Hopefully it will open early most of the season!

I have seen Th13teen open slightly early before along with Rita, but both after 9:45. It does help the queues, now spinball will be Manic at opening

I love having Rita on ERT, I'd much rather whore Rita in the morning and then nip on Spinball at some point in the day via the SRQ and not have to worry about Rita's at times infuriating queues (I seem to cause the ride to break down every time I'm near it #-o). Besides which, doesn't Spinball have a habit of sneaking on to the ERT lineup when we're not looking? Or certainly opening early, as Dan said :P.

They only open TH14TEEN early so guests can hike round its 5mile queue line ready for its opening :D

There were bloody loads of occasions last year when spinball opened late, or couldn't open for ERT.. and so they opened Rita instead.

Not surprised about this, at least Rita always seems ready for 9 opening ;)

Would have preferred Th13teen to be on it, now I'll have to fork out £10 for a DF Fastrack to go on Th13teen if it's busy :x
