I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the reopening of the Chapel section in the ruins as seen in this video by ATJake.

The Chapel hasn't been reopened, it never really closed, however unfortunately when I have been this season the doors to it have been locked more often than not. I think the Chapel being open depends on if someone gets round to opening it. I have been in there a few times this season though and many times in the past few seasons.

It has certainly been open the last few times I have been, on the last mini meet I went on we all had a look in there.
I seem to remember going in there as a child but you could also go in the room on the left (as you walk in) and there was displays and things in the chapel rather than being totally empty like it is now.
Is that true or did I just dream it up?

In the early noughties, there was an contemporary Christianity exhibition for young people called Crux if I recall correctly.

Duel down again today, was stuck on the ride for 30 minutes, until they decided to turn the main lights on and let us out. But one good thing about it was I could go behind the scenes Theres nothing there but a few old flume and rapid boats, seriously that was all! However there was a huge cleared site in the centre of it, so is something expected to arrive there, or an old ride to be stored there maybe ? Or am I getting a little carried away

If you are reffering to the yard out the back it's a storage area. If you visit durring the closed season you'll find all the Flume tubs, (And I think Rapids boasts) are moved to there. It's used for many things, but at the end of the season it fills up with bits from around the park that need storage

Doing a quick google search shows that Crux was around 2003(ish), and it seems something called Starchaser was originally there, but not sure when this was
*Edit* Looking at the towers times towers guide, it says there was a planetarium in the 80s, but this closed in 1987 (the year I was born, so of course that cant be what im thinking of), and then Crux in 2003 for 2 years.

The chapel used to house a huge model railway, was a really good attraction but it went in the 90's
As for the space behind Duel, its simply storage for bits and bobs and hasnt changed much in years.

Ahh... Thank you I was just wondering because it seemed as if the land had recently been cleared, because it was all bright and dusty, (like when a demolition sight has been cleared), my bad

Towers has loads of these areas, i would love to get free reign to wander around some of the areas behind Cloud Cuckoo land, not only is their remenants of the old coaster corner but a lot of stuff is kept behind there for the studios. Only ever had a distant glimps during some backstage tours before.

On a random note, I visited Towers two days last week, and not ONCE was I asked to buy anything on Towers Street. Sure, the cheap-looking Quencher cart was out and the photographers were there, but not a single person attempted to pitch their product to me.
This is either an actual decision to tone things down, or just a two-off incidence of staff being less enthusiastic and not bothering to upsell .

Or it's not as bad as everyone keeps making it out to be, because I wasn't approached by anyone either.

Here's the image of the Doorbell, it's actually quite loud, the speakers are in between the two sets of doors and I think, in the lobby near the elephant. It's nice to see the resort have finally noticed me
Just to add, don't know if anyone already knew but the walkway between Sonic Spinball and X-SECTOR has now re-opened.
Just remembered there are new white LED lights in Splash Landing's entrance lobby handing from the ceiling - looks nice but, look out of place (sorry don't have photo)
