I just called them. Again.
Got some word. Basically, it's "not open yet", "won't be open this weekend" and "probably will open with the main theme park season".
Balls to a nice Steak at the weekend there, then!
New Steak House coming to ATH!
It doesn't look ready to open just yet, but it now has black tables and chairs in there...
The room was host to the Doodles show just after Christmas, it's still been used as a muti function room since it was decorated.
Shouldn't be to long, but I don't think there in any rush to open it...

To be fair, it's not being advertised anywhere or even been offically confirmed, so I don't think we can expect it to be opened any time.
It does sound very nice though, I wander what sort of tasty treats they will have on offer.

Looks great, shame i'm a vegetarian...
Think of it as a plant that could walk around and say "moo", and you can get away with it.
From TowersTimes News...
[quote=""TowersTimes News""]A eagle eyed member of TowersTimes has recently spotted the interior of the new 'Steakhouse' Restaurant at the Alton Towers Hotel on a recent visit to the hotel.
Whilst the new restaurant has yet to announce its official opening date, it looks remarkably complete from the recent photographs that have come to light, indicating it may be ready to open soon.
The addition to the hotel has been highly anticipated by veteran hotel goers as an additional choice to the few restaurants currently available at the hotels, although there has been no word from the resort itself on the new addition.
Those that have seen the area have indicated that it is a very open area with few tables/seats, although it is possible that the area hasn't quite been finished yet.
Here's the photos so far of the new décor for the restaurant:

That looks really rather stunning, beautiful attention to the décor!
Remember, they come because of the décor, they stay for the food!

I take back my earlier statement.
It actually looks stunning. Well done Alton, that almost makes up for not having a new attraction.

It's lovely to see the interior of this new restaurant, looking forward to checking it out at Feb Half Term and perhaps having dinner there too The design is much like a Tandoori, I must admit but that doesn't detour from well, how nice it looks!

It's not really an Arabian theme. There are elements of Arabian art in it, but I think they've gone for a British stately home, which during the Victorian era it was fashionable to decorate rooms with "exotic" elements from the British Empire, especially India.
Note the bookshelf, the coat of arms, and the bust in the second photo.

It's looking really impressive, I'm wondering if people might have a bit of difficulty finding it, but design-wise it's nicer than the Secret Garden is at the moment!
Will have to pop in there for some chips or something, but it's definitely lovely to have another food outlet .
