Got an idea of how the Alton Towers Resort may develop over the coming seasons? Discuss it here.

Thought I would share this as I don't believe anyone else has posted it yet:

[quote=""Alton Towers Heritage""]Heritage site developing!
The Alton Towers Heritage site is undergoing a mini-makeover to make room for news on new developments at the Resort. "Given that everything happening now will become part of our history, and knowing the amount of interest there is amongst regular park goers for information on new developments, we thought it would be useful to put details of planning applications etc onto the site," said Mark Kerrigan, Head of Development. All of the current site content will remain unchanged and in fact will continue to grow as more narrative is added.

"We are hoping the site redesign will be complete by the end of August and ready to launch early September," concluded Kerrigan.

This is good news.

The heritage site is brilliant, its great to have an official online archive of Alton Towers rich history.

In 20 years time future enthusiasts will be able to look at SW6 (for example) in so much more detail compared with our knowledge of Corkscrew or Nemesis.
