Shame I don't watch those programs! If only Lovejoy had stayed on Soccer AM, or atleast replaced by someone as good as him, the program isn't any good anymore, but that's for a different time and place...It's good to see them advertise it properly now, and is a good sign the ride will be ready after the blow that is the cancellation of boot camp and the preview weekend. It is the right times and place to put them, so hopefully pretty much the whole country will catch atleast one of the ads atleast once.

This was probably posted a while back but its shows the advert was already made over a month ago but have sadly had to go back and remake the advert as it would not be able to show untill after the watershed (after 9pm) which oviously says in its self they want to advertise for younger people to. So for all those who were fooled by the over 16 marketing warning in the paper, this explains it all.

Anyone have any advert or teaser times for today?

I doubt that an advert had actually been made at the point that story was run. The article is most likely a fabrication created between Alton Towers and the newspaper in order to generate a sense of excitement and drama. It's worked!

Hi everyone, I've been on this forum for a while but I'm afraid I am quite guilty of lurking rather than posting.

I'm hoping some of you can help me and not flame me! So here goes!

I'm a journalist at Staffordshire University and I'm looking for a couple of quotes from Alton Towers fans who had tickets to the preview weekend or bootcamp. I just want to know how you feel about the cancellation/posponment and whether you personally think Th13teen will open in time.

Hey everyone, had to join as I have just seen a blipvert for Thirteen whilst watching MTV Hits.

Spoiler Alert!

[spoiler:26sga0ar]The blipvert features an image of a girl saying you better not go alone and then the Alton Towers Logo and the number 13 hanging off of a vine. That's all I can remember as obviously it is a very short advert.[/spoiler:26sga0ar]

I am now heavily anticipating this ride even more than before!

I just saw the ad on E4. It had two in a break. One at the end featured roaring and screaming then 13.

Very interesting, and much more imaginitive than I was expecting.

I wonder if the girl has anything to do with the attraction, or just some random marketing thing. (I'm thinking it could just be a random marketing thing)

Its a clever advert really, it has ITHOTMK to siginify its related to Alton Towers and not much else. I think an Alton Towers logo would be useful though.
Definitely has an air of mystery and very similar feel to the Hex advert.

Maybe the girl will play a role in the story, she might have been evil, been executed and buried in the crypt. The wraiths could be trying to protect us from her. I expect, however, she's just a device for showing the dark forest is haunted.
