I'm just curious to see some pics of the gift shop in the towers before it was turned into Hex. Anyone got any ?

maybe he's right perhaps its just the castle that was there before hex and alton towers was built after all there was a 15th earl according to hex and what we see now. Its just into ruin and decay for the earls but the castle stays longer than it seems. Yet more likely the whole castle is more likely to answer your answer....

Whenever i used to go to alton towers with ma family my parents used to go on about how the towers used to have a model railway display in it

and blokes in casual T shirts running it.
