Did anyone else read the paragraph about the relief road? Just goes to show how the arguments were still going on then "I'm sure we'll come up with a solution that pleases everybody". Nine years after this and that still hasn't happened!

The 'eye catching' new uniforms for 2000 gave me a very big chuckle! thanks for posting those, very good read indeed
fascinating stuff.
I remember that 1999 fireworks show... a friend at work did the lighting for it (didn't know her at the time though). Apparently the 'UFO' was not supposed to busrt into flames! damaged alot of kit and nearly killed the laser tech!

They started in 1995 and were A3 size to begin with then went down to A4. There was 3 a year. And even the Towers only have black and white copy's of the first 2 as they let me copy them way back in 1998.
