My girlfriend has been bugging me recently as to what I want for Christmas. :-k
It's hard to think who would actually use this apart from Alton Towers. :?
If it's anything like the Swan boats it'll just be left in a garden to rot.

I'd like to see one of the local councils to buy it and use it as a Roundabout (road island for you Stoke Scum :P ) Display.
Or maybe a local shopping centre could display it.

:D :D
If I was to win it, I would take it to school and use it as a quiet reading corner. Vekoma will install some onboard sound and I shall have relaxing music.

Currently at £620 after 4 hours! It'll be very interesting to see how much this goes for.

What do people reckon this will go for? I reckon this will go for over £5,000.

I've just read the description, you only get the fibre-glass outer structure, if they are taking away all the chassis and stuff most of the structural integrity will be gone. No wonder it says its not intended to be used as a permanent seat.

Its going to be a very nice total for the charity.

Ah, I thought they would be taking it totally apart practically. There is more in that photo than I thought you would be getting.

I hope they are serious bids and not just bidding for the sake of it.

If its off chasis.. that means they have plans for the trains... Has someone made them an offer for the entire ride?

Private collectors of theme park rides?

AstroDan

I was going to offer £100 but obviously that was just a gesture, it's over £1,100 now!

As for the auction, will be interesting to see how much it goes for. I kind of assumed the inners of the car would be taken out, cos guaranteed whoever bought it would end up harnessing themselves in, then realising theres no one around to pedal them out

Nick

You will get the seats and harnesses with the car

Bitch! I never got to do the Height training on Corky in 2007 :( :(

What a miss out. Still, nice to have worked on it, specially for you in the final season!!

No way! Did you not have to do r&e training in 07?

Was pretty swish to have worked on it this year though, not to mention on the very last day too! Was floating between platform and entrance, and got to close off the entrance at 3pm too. Good times :)

Yes, but for some reason, I missed the date it was being done - and then never had chance after that! It never seemed to cause any problems though but meh!

[s:2t9fxznl]£1,600.00[/s:2t9fxznl]
£1,650.00

Also noticed now the biddings going up in £50's instead of £20's.
