Okay Not A Good Start. I've already been redirected here from the General Thread By Admin. Lol. Phail.
Anyway, My Names Ian. Although Its probably best you call me Beanz on here hehe. =) I'm one of Mankey's good mates, and me and him went up to chessington for the day. First time (since I was about 8, when we went to AT, but I hardly remember) i've ever been to large theme park. I had a REALLY good day out, a huge ride count (cos we're off college early ^ ^), and I had a banging headache out of it. Overall, 'mazing day hehe.
I vowed to those preset (Mankey, Duckman And Popboy), that i'd set myself up here, and get to meet some of the lovely people that Mankey seems to endlessly spam to me about (lulz, love him really xD).
Thats enough from me now, if you wanna know more (its endless, really Razz), then i guess just post here, or add me through Msn. Mankey will give it to you, or just PM me Smile
Thanks
Beanz

Hi there, folks.
My name is Joshua, I'm a bit of a coaster geek, and quite often take my family along to Alton Towers and Drayton Manor when I can. I've never been down to the London theme parks, but I'm trying to engage the wife in the idea of staying at Holiday Inn at Chessington. But the cost of having a family Merlin Pass is getting in the way at the moment, as I am only a lowly Retail Manager. I've also been to Flamingo Land a few times, but it just doesnt compare to what Staffs has! If only I could move.
I came across this website when researching a hotel stay in Alton Towers. If anybody could tell me what the best deal is to do, that would be great. We've always stayed in B+B's closeby before, but we are thinking of staying in the hotels, especially spending some time in the Spa.
I hope to get to know everyone over time, so treat me nicely!
Josh
Oh, and has anybody ever been to Digger Land?

Welcome to the forums Joshi,
The Merlin pass pays for itself time and time again and is well worth the price ... it's also worth noting you can get them for free if you save clubcard points with tesco (see the tesco clubcard topic ...)
London's well worth a trip too ... we did Thorpe park last october during fright nights and were blown away .... this year we'll be going back plus visiting Chessie

Hi there, I'm James from Peebles (just south of Edinburgh). Been resident on BPB Guide for the last year and a half, more or less. Big music fan, I love The Who, Frank Zappa, Jethro Tull, Faure, Muse, Sondheim and more.
I try to give balanced, fair and non-provocative comments in a balanced, fair and non-provocative way. Which is hard when you're as cynical as I am.
I'd like it if you didn't give me a hard time, even though my main park is BPB and I like rides like Infusion, Rita and PMBO.
Anyway, nice to be here!

Welcome to the forum, James! No one will be hard on you for liking what you like (although if you say Nemesis is crap, forget it :P:P) - we're all a varied group of individuals with various likes and dislikes... some strange, some not so strange!
Happy posting!
