They are franchises, so in theory Thorpe/Merlin should have control of the ones in the park. I'm no expert though so don't quote me [emoji38]
Franchises can apply to parent company to set up but I think Merlin would be the franchise for the brand stores in park.

If that's the case then kfc and Burger King should apply the merlin pass discount. I argued the toss last time in kfc and they gave me the 20%off. So gonna do same when I go next week.

The franchiser may impose the prices on Merlin and thus can't apply MAP discount

Right, I'm going to be cheeky now and apologies in advance for asking such a question, but you don't get if you don't ask!

I am a Premium Annual Pass holder and, therefore, was issued with 3 "share the fun" vouchers entitling me to bring a friend for £10.

I could do with an extra one for a trip to scarefest. Does anyone have a voucher they are not likely to use that I could have?

If so, please PM me and we will talk.

Many thanks.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already (couldn't see it doing a search) but I've noticed that to "share the fun" on a 2017 pass will cost 50% more than on a 2016 pass.

Tut tut Merlin, poor show,

Tut tut Merlin, poor show,
I thought they were going from £10 this year to £15 next year.

You buy the drinks capsule and then it's 75p per refill. It does work out more expensive if you use it more.

I'm thinking of buying a Merlin annual pass for the 2017 season is the premium any better then the standard? I can't see that much difference with them except for prices and certain date restrictions so i'm not sure if premium is worth it?

You get free parking at theme parks with premium as well as 3 £5 fastrack vouchers to use at Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Chessington. There are share the fun vouchers which allow you to bring friends/family for a discounted rate, they were £10 in 2016 but I think I read they were increasing to £15 in 2017 :(

Is that £15 per person who then doesn't have one?

There are 3 vouchers that entitle a guest to £15 entry. Once used, these vouchers cannot be used again.

I hope there's a decent price available for renewal this year! Not like a couple of years ago when the price increased for the sale :?
