The Sunday Times Travel Magazine have posted some photos of The Gruffalo Rooms on their Twitter.
As we've come to expect with Merlin (and was evident from the concept images produced) it's mostly vinyls, however there are a few nice touches with the 3D Gruffalo model above the double bed and the lighting in the bunk bed area which gives the impression of being in a woodland.

I wouldn't say I'm getting overly excited about 3D characters alone, as really that's what we should expect at the very least. For me to be truly impressed with this attraction I'd like to see a couple of decent animatronics as well as plenty of animated features.

Gruffalo is in the press day bit now and the fountains are still here! Here is a video showing off the finale. https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_contin ... Wlr9Bkk__k

It looks decent. I never experienced/knew a lot about
Bubbleworks so don't know how it compares. A few dead spots and certainly nothing special but at least the entire ride isn't just screens!

I'd say it's pretty darn impressive for the uk, many people seem to be living it so far.
That being said fingers crossed all screens a projections are kept on and running this year...
New images from chessington themselves.
Here's a review...

Theme Park Guide - James A wrote: The ride is themed around the famous Gruffalo book brought to life inside the old Bubbleworks building. Bubbleworks closed early September 2015 for the ride to be completely overhauled and the park have done just that! The ride looks completely different compared to how it did a few months ago. Complete with new effects, smells pots, fog screen and projection mapping the ride is a completely new experience . The only downside of the ride is there are a few empty spaces, however it gives Chessington the space to expand the ride over the next few months. And the big question on everyone's brain, yes the fountains have made a return.

It looks like CatCF with bigger models, and I fail to see why it had to take the best themed area down with it too!
Its also an utter mess as far as narrative is concerned.
And the snake advertising the themed rooms is wrong...that everything?
It looks very good and I can't wait to ride it!
