I think Thorpe Park actually run these days and let Annual Pass holders in, it'd be nice if Towers did that.
I believe it is Chessington although Thorpe may have started to do these.
Also, the "rehearsel" day would seem more sense and hotel guests seems the best idea. I would love to see 'Where the magic never ends' brought back but it can only bring people say, 'Hang on, this ain't magical innit'. It was a great slogan but I think change is good, although it'll have to be good to beat that simple slogan.

I agree with Marky: 'Where the magic never ends' was a great slogan for the park, fitted and it quite recognised with tourists and the general public. I don't like 'Serious about fun' it just seems a bit bland and BLA if you know what I mean.
As for the early opening, I think maybe they should leave it till the Saturday, especially if it's only for hotel guests. Not many people will know about it and wont book the hotel etc. Also, a Saturday seems like a more sensible and suited day to open.

The 2007 Hotel details have the same "extraordinary" font all over them, but not the actualy slogun. but all the pages are headed with "your...<something>" such as "your world of fun" "your fears conquered" "your exciting getaway"
maybe this new slogun will reflect this somehow?

When trying to book a hotel room on 15th March, rooms come with the theme park tickets suppliment. Does this mean it will be open for Hotel Guests on 16th March?!

It better not be that. That's awful :P
Almost as bad as Thorpe's 2007 slogan: "Thorpe Park - Let's have some fun!"
How err imaginative!

Just incase you forget why you're spending £32 a head, Thorpe Park and Alton Towers possibly thought it might be an idea to remind you!
Talk about stating the Obvious!!
I thought Alton Towers were supposed to be bringing the magic back to people's visits? Surely restoring the old Slogan would be a start? :rolls:

Let's Have Some Fun?!?! Eeeeww! 'Twisted Pleasure' was so much better, seems like they've a 'quick, think of something more family oriented' 5 second job behind that.
I hope Alton don't go the way of the whole 'Memories' thing again. It was just a huge failure. I'd love for 'extraordinary' to be used somehow.

I don't think (hope) that's THE slogan, just A slogan that they have put on the brochure, as its an introduction to the park. If that's all it is then its a fine slogan, if not then

Alton Towers: "The Fun Starts Here"
Thorpe Park: "Let's Have Some Fun"
Chessington: "The Fun Starts When You Get Here"
Anyone noticing a pattern?
