[quote=""Matt 125""]I thought I heard at the end from that man that it goes 80mph.... Hmm. Why would they make it so fast it would hurt you though?

Matt :D

If you read the notes, they were testing it at that speed, then they did the roll back aswell :)

If it got to 100 wouldnt it had proplems at the breaks? I mean the magnets are being set to stop the car from 80mph?

No the fins are the same as the 1's on TTD and KK just they would need more depending on the ride layout.

Im sure stealth has enough breaks to handle 100mph :)

Stealth had more brake fins on the camel back during testing, therefore it could handle the higher speed test runs...

Stealth topped just over 100mph from what I heard, which is pretty impressive, shame no footage was caught of it testing at such speeds.

Yeah bet that was good to watch, rita use to have alot more brake fins in its brake section (not launch) this was changed to improve thoughput but allso made it overspeed quite often :)

Knotts are adding yet another coaster. Pony express is a moto coaster by zamperella. Its more family orientated. But the party piece has to be the trains.

Length: 1300'
Height: 44'
Inversions: 0
Speed: 38 mph
Max Acceleration: 0 − 38 mph in 3 seconds

A child's launch. :)

Layouts looks slightly weird though, looks abit compact.

I'm surprised that we've not seen something like this akin to the gloomy wood launch coaster at Alton.

A small launched broomstick coaster would be brilliant!

The layout is compact. Knotts have used prettyy much all the land they have avalible. Thats why rides interlock with eacthother. Such as Silver bullet has jaguar under it. The park actualy feels quite claustrophobic in places.

Knott's is to remove their Boomerang within the coming months, with its last scheduled day of operation set for April 23rd, according to several local news organisations and an update on its RCDB page.

Given the vast area now made available thanks to the removal of this, Riptide (a nearby flat) and a nearby defunct restaurant, it seems very possible that something big may be coming for the park in 2018.
