As reported on our Facebook page; Alton Towers Resort have confirmed via Twitter that 'Inside Alton Towers', a one-off documentary that follows the team at the Resort as they battle with the challenge of building a wooden structure that appears to burst into flames, will air on Thursday 23rd August at 9pm on Channel 4.

Yeah it'll be good to see a new documentary based on the towers.

It'll also be interesting to see how they handle the smiler incident.

Honestly, this documentary is what the park needs. It's a chance for the park to hold their hands up, admit to what happened and show how they are changing and show the public they can be trusted.

With a ride like Wicker Man, it's a great choice of ride to document the whole process and show that they can create a thrilling but safe ride.

Ironically, we've had to endure cost cutting every year now since the accident on The Smiler – that's not them trying to win customers back! I agree though, I think it'll portray Alton Towers in a more positive light, which will hopefully win back the trust of some of those people who have genuinely been put off from visiting.

Hi! I'm looking for the Oblivion ambient sounds that play in the queue line of the ride. (Not the theme tune itself) Anyone know where I could get a copy of it? Thanks

A new video from the Facebook Careers page is set to a snippet of the Scarefest Towers St. music (along with some comedic videos of the mazes if you haven't already seen it).

That video is a remix of an old music video from 2015...
This was the 2014 video...
Unfortunately, there is currently no video for 2016 (although it exists) and no video for 2017.

I would actually be willing to pay £20 for a Towers one, due to the fact it's my home park and I prefer the audio used there (over Thorpe's).

While I would love to have a Towers/IMAScore CD, is there currently enough content to make such a CD worthwhile?

Off the top of my head, we have: Towers Street, The Smiler, Wicker Man, Galactica, Spinball Whizzer and the Heritage Soundtrack. I suppose they could also add the finale music from the 2015 Fireworks display, but I do think such a CD would contain multiple tracks from each attraction, in a similar way to the Thorpe Park and Liseberg CD’s.

It would be good to get some of the Wicker Man audio included, especially the 3 stages of the queue-line soundtrack.

Either way, regardless of what was included, I know I would buy it :D

Speaking of IMAscore, I was wondering if there’s any themes on Spotify for any ride? They have a Spotify page but nothing from the Towers.

There's this song about farms that someone in my family took a liking to, something about a "moo-cow"

Is the “farm song” “The Chicken Song” from Charlie and Lola?

That is the one I couldn't remember. To me, that is the one which screams out CBeebies purely for Ents dancing along to it one year. It actually is one of my favourite moments at Alton ever.
