All I can say is massive LOLs at the theming and branding of the tower ride.
Why is it funny? I think it's very well thought out and I love the lift level feature, which tells you which floor it's supposedly at
You didn't notice the total Disney Rip-off going on then?
Why is it a rip off? It's simply a good idea for a power tower, it's not exactly a replica and is also a travelling ride, it doesn't need to rip off of themepark ride themes.

This is great news that they're adding a drop tower to Winter Wonderland this year. I went last year and and found it awesome. But since they're adding a new thrill ride this year it should be much better. Can't wait  .
The attractions have now started to arrive at Hyde Park, currently on site are:-
The Huge Bayern 9 Slide from Germany
Eurocoaster (Suspended Reverchon Coaster) from Holland
Zierer Black Hole Indoor Coaster from Germany
Wheel Of Excellence (Giant Enclosed Capsule Wheel)
Power Tower2 (Mauher Sohne Shot & Drop Tower) from Germany
A Giant Fun-House from Germany
Some English fairground rides (rock-o-plane, carousel, tornado, Helter Skelter)

For those interested in foreign rides, there is also a travelling fair including some Netherlands Kermis machines, which will be held inside the 02 arena (millenium dome). Dates are from November 20th until 3rd January 2010. One machine confirmed is a Huss Rides 'Magic', for those of you who would like the opportunity to ride one. It is owned by NL. showman Hinzen and can be seen here http://www.ridesdb.com/db/thumbpic.php?ride_id=535
I'm not sure where exactly inside the place it will be held, but I'm very sure you won't be able to miss it.

Is this Zierer coaster meant to be any good? All Zierer coasters I have been on thus far have been average to poor.

Wow...looks like a cross between a twister and a waltzer!

I asked in the general fairs topic, but I'll ask again here:
Are there any plans for a meet at Winter Wonderland?

Yes, the machine can get very fast. Most operators keep the spinning gondalas locked and when it reaches full speed they are released and the spin they give is intence.

At least 1/3 of the Dome is currently unused and empty - I'd be willing to bet it'll be there.
Somehow I've never heard of the Hyde Park Winder Wonderland before... will definitely be checking it out this year!
