Looks great.

I hope they look after it - often, Asterix let their rides, quite literally, rot.

For some reason the link doesn't work for me. But the rest looks great! If it ends up looking like that, I think I will nerdgasm...
AstroDan

The colour of the track is absolutely spot on. It's a really lovely colour for a B&M.

:)

the theming for this looks really great- BM inverts work well with this Egyptian theme (aka Montu)
some of those tunnels look really interesting- there really are a few close calls with the exiting of the tunnels :)

Can't believe I've just found this topic. This coaster looks great, and well themed as well. This is looking like 2012 will be another good year for B&M.

Newsparc posted an really interesting article about Oz'Iris, with an interview from the designer.

Here is a quote from the article, translated in English, the whole article in french can be found here
Newsparc wrote:We wanted to build a high quality attraction, so we worked with the Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard, considered in the profession as the best in design and production of roller coaster tracks with extremely smooth without shaking, with many sensations . We wanted to do as for Tonnerre de Zeus, a dynamic layout, without any brakes to keep a very high speed all journey.

To design the thematic universe of OzIris, Julien Bertevas was particularly inspired by attractions such as Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Indiana Jones Adventures or Black Mamba. "It is fed by all these beautiful creations, and we try to draw inspiration maximum quality level. So I try to push the Parc Asterix in overcoming your limitations, for example by including even references to Egypt in pictograms safety tips or numbers on each train! "
I really think that it is going to be a intense and incredibly well themed coaster, and of course by far the best coaster in France! Can't wait for it to open!

It looks even more amazing! No doubt that the theming will be incredible!
Only one month left to wait!  :D

Edit:
Here is the storyline translated in english :

After a brief stint in Gaul where he met Asterix and Obelix, the magician Iris returned to earth in order to create an Egyptian temple for his glory! To improve his reputation, Iris launches a brand new spell with his hypnotic eyes that will captivate visitors and make them fly and swirl like unbridled birds ... "For Osiris and Apis, would you dare to bear the unbearable look of Iris ? "

This looks absolutely marvellous.

I keep saying it but there's so much goodness in Europe for 2012. We are so lucky.
SpinballEdders

Looks like Nemmy has some competition! I really need to go to this park one day
AstroDan

Nemesis already does have competition. Katun, Black Mamba.

That image of the helix wrapping around the queue is awesome. I bet waiting to ride it will be just as spectacular as riding it! :D

The last picture of the set on the last page looks close for comfort on leg room when you enter the whole into the ground! That will be a brilliant part! Shame I will probably never get to ride it  :(
