This just shows how big halloween is over their. when i went over their i went in a shop selling just halloween decs that was bigger than the average HMV shop. I just could not belive it. Halloween seems to be getting bigger and bigger over here now so maybe in 5 years time Alton & Thorpe could have somthing as big as this.
I am assuming the halloween horror night attractions at universal are very intense? I think i would be scared witless!?
When I went to HHN when the icon was the Director (13 I think) grown men were coming out crying and I've never ran so fast to leave a scarehouse in my life :P

I dread to think what these grown men would be like at HHN: Sweet 16 when it was The Director, The Storyteller, Jack the Clown and The Caretaker.

It suddenly reminded me of the Rock'n'RollerCoaster at the Disney parks. I mean, flashing lights, pretty colours and being very, very, very fast.

Maybe I'm being totally thick, and having a total n00b moment, but how the hell can a loop be non-inverting?!
Other than that, ta for the update, looks like it's coming together nicely =]

Arg, I swear... if they finish building this by the time I leave (incredibly likely) I am going to be really damn annoyed. I think it looks great, siiiggh.

Heh, I was excited about this ride until I saw the NoLimits simulation. There's THREE places where a great airtime hill has been ruined by an MCBR. I know they are so they can have a billion trains on the track at once but who wants to queue hardly any time at all for a really boring ride? Makes me glad in Britain we don't really go in for MCBR's (we just have incredibly short coasters instead
)
Presuming it goes at a higher speed in real life than that video, the loop-that's-not-a-loop could be a really fun element. I seem to remember seeing a photo of an un-built Schwarzkopf plan that had the same element - can anyone shed light on this? After that though, I see almost nothing of interest in the rest of the layout, it just seems a massive waste of track, a gentle meandering tour through Maurer Söhne's collection of brake runs and mild inclines.

The Wolfman, Jigsaw and Chucky Will Wreak Havoc at Nation’s Most Frightening Halloween Event
Universal Orlando is partnering with Universal Pictures to bring one of the year’s most highly anticipated films, “The Wolfman,” to life so guests can experience it firsthand before it hits theaters on November 6. It is also partnering with Lionsgate® and Twisted Pictures to bring the most profitable horror franchise, “SAW,” to Halloween Horror Nights 19: Ripped From the Silver Screen. Universal Orlando is also using its partnership with Universal Pictures to bring the popular “Chucky” film series to life at the event as well.
Expect a "re-imagined" Dracula and Frankenstein to also make an appearance.
Rumours are suggesting Jack, The Director or a Usher to be this years 'Icon'.
The event will run on selected nights from September 22nd to October 31st. Tickets are on sale now (Thought I'd mention this as a few TTFers are going).
Normal Tickets are $69.99.
Frequent Fear Pass is also $69.99, unlimited entry for September 25, 26, October 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 21, 22, 25, 28 & 29.
Or to add onto a Universal day ticket: Saturdays = $59.99, Fridays = $49.99, Other days = $29.99
Construction has already started including what is being speculated to being Chucky's 'box' as an entrance to a house. Construction will hot up further around July/August.

I'm really looking forward to "Saw" at HHN , i'm hoping they get some good traps from the movies , and i'm sure you will end up in the bathroom at some point . i'm thinking its gonna be like the warehouse type hideout from the front of the attraction , and you will walk though jigsaws warehouse seeing his games , or maybe your one of this victims?
