When we heard that the Flying Scotsman were coming to Mid Norfolk Railway which is not too far from me, well we had to go and see her. The static photos were taken on the 6th Oct and the Scotsman in motion were taken 16th Oct

First we sat inside an old 1960's British Rail carriage

Here is a view of the old lady, Jess said the locomotive can't be a female as it has the word "Man" in the name "Scotsman"

Not a true Scotsman as the locomotive was built in Doncaster

We also got to spend a few minutes upon the footplate

They also had a couple other locomotives on site

We had to say one last goodbye before she leaves Norfolk, and in motion

And a British Rail Blue Electric/Diesel Class 47 County of Essex sent ahead to make sure that the track is clear
