On a Facebook group I am in, somebody's friend (who I presume is staff) rode dbgt and said how incredible it was. Fills me with lots of hope

There's been a few words over the web, some even saying its 'as good as disney'. I'm not bringing my hopes too high - but it definitely sounds promising!

I read that too, but I'm taking anything like it with a pinch of salt. Its all well and good that some staff have experienced it, but until I experience it for myself i'm not going to take staff's reactions seriously. (Probably because they will be slightly biased).

I think with all the latest goings on it was inevitable! :)

Derren Brown also has a week off from his tour, so anything is possible!

Staff confirmed to us today that the opening is getting very close but thats all they would say.

They also said that staff haven't been able to test the entire attraction yet, its only been "testing" for their training purposes involving the actors but they have a "staff test night" scheduled in

I think he is referring to all the activity happening around DBGT, therefore the speculation which comes with it!

Very unlikely now with all of the delays, seems more than likely that they'll just want to open in for everyone.

I do agree. I don't believe we will see a MAP event, but I do believe we will see some kind of opening night to promote the attraction. Pure speculation, but if it was to happen then I think it would occur on a Thursday!

The train carriage in the Dome now has an interesting floor cover - maybe hinting at the story?

Looks like a mass grave under the tracks, but who knows
Also, the vr NEEDS to be ported to a video game, it would bring the cash rolling on the Thorpe end (and my wallet)

I don't think Derren would like that remember how much the emphasise has been on secercy and the suprise factor/ fear of the unknown. It could happen a few years down the line but adjusted slightly.

I'm thinking a maintenance pit!
I wonder why this hasn't been added before?

A member on TPM has posted this interesting information -
Mattrad wrote:Hi all, I'm currently at Thorpe Park and have spotted about 10 members of staff
Spoiler
in vintage rail uniforms
heading into the building . 5 mins later Derren Brown was ushered quickly through the queue into the building!! A staff member at the entrance told me that Derren was there to test the ride.
The spoiler hints at the ride op uniform for those who are interested.
