A bit off topic but if you stay at 1 of the hotels can you go in the water park for free?

So for a family of four with a merlin pass it's just under £40? That's quite a bit ...

Is the outdoor section of the waterpark open during the Winter? Going on the 3rd of Feb.

That's cheap when you compare it to a leisure centre.Ilovecoasters wrote: So for a family of four with a merlin pass it's just under £40? That's quite a bit ...

Our local leisure centre is £3.95 for a 90 minute session, Which = £2.63 per hour
AT waterpark works out to be £1.66 per hour if you stay in for the whole 9 hours.
To get your moneys worth, you need to be in there for at least 5 hours, which I achieve every time I go.

My local leisure centre is about £2 an hour but FREE if you do swimming lessons, so really, when my family went, we'd all go for 3 hours and pay £12. I guess this is what I'm used to.pillsburyb wrote:That's cheap when you compare it to a leisure centre.Ilovecoasters wrote: So for a family of four with a merlin pass it's just under £40? I'm visiting for the first time in years (waterpark not AT) with my family in April.
I have been on Master Blaster, which is great fun!!
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of pools the other slides end in?
My kids want to use them, but are non-swimmers at the mo. I know the end pool for Master Blaster is fairly deep and wondered if the others were the same?
Or are arm bands/float vests allowed on the slides?
Thanks in advance for any help with these questions.

IIRC all the flume pools are the same depth as the master blaster pool, and I'm sure there are signs up saying that if you need armbands you can't use the flumes.

The waterslides rules and regulations does not mention any rules against armbands on the slides but young children must be accompanied by an adult

During winter and off peak, the outdoor pools and slides only open on friday, Saturdays and Sundays.CoventryBee wrote: Is the outdoor section of the waterpark open during the Winter? Going on the 3rd of Feb.
