I was hoping that this was a video of testing, instead it is Santa playing a trombone at the crest of the lift hill...

For a second I thought he was starting to play the Smiler theme at around the 35 second mark..  Looks like I really do belong to that ride...

And thorpe gets the swarm..... This looks so much faster, it's got better inversions and has no brave it backwards,

It stands to reason that this would be better than The Swarm though. The Swarm was the 2nd of it's kind. B&M have built a number of wingriders since, fine tuning and honing the model to where it is now.

It's a shame Merlin can't seem to build rides in the UK that interact that well with the environment though.

To be fair, the terrain and setting for this has always had an advantage over a flat piece of land created from a lake..

I would not say it looks faster than any of the other Wing Riders, but looks bloody superb.

Great footage!

I wish I liked flying (on planes) because I would love to ride this. It looks brilliant

I'm annoyed I can't go as I've never been to a theme park outside the UK. This looks so good!

Looks superb. It's interesting how they have shortened the train to just six cars. Hopefully, it will make the ride run a little quicker around the inversions. This has the potential to be the best Winged Coaster from B&M to date.

Indeed it was, I seem to recall it had some animatronics as part of the theme - I'm glad the park have retained some remains of the log flume even if it is just a small part :)

Looking at the tunnel, I was remembering the queueline entrance that was posted back on page 4.

It looks really cool, as if you're actually seeking shelter from the bats in the tunnel.  The theming seems to be going for a more subtle approach compared to The Swarm's combusting Airbuses and it appears to be working just as well, if not better!

It's a Boeing ;)

I like it, looks amazing but the queue looks cramped, probably just that picture but I wouldn't like it at all :/

The ride's name is now on the station, as shown in this image from the minisite.
