Welcome to the ride of the year! Here, you can select up to 5 rides and the ride with the most vote is ride of the year!

Here's how it will work:
I've started with the alton towers big 6. All other rides you want to see here, leave a comment below or PM me and tell me the ride and the park, and I'll get it here ASAP. Poll expires in 60 days

You can change your vote at any time, so by all means change it when another ride comes along!

EDIT: Please only select rides you think would be a good ride of the year, not just oh yeah the 10 coasters at this and that park. You're only going to get 5 voted so in theory there shouldn't be any need to suggest more than 5

May the best ride win!

^erm, you may want to add more rides from across the world, then I'll vote ;)

That's my point tell me rides you'd like, I'll add them! From anywhere!

EDIT: the CWOA coasters have been added for my own pleasure ;)

EDIT: argh! Can't change votes now! What's happened? Zeroed it for now, but I don't want to have to do that every time!

Well for the new rides that have opened this year I only been on the Smiler so I have to vote for that. But if I had gone to Florida the transformers ride at Universal Studios would have got my vote.

It doesn't have to be a ride that opened this year

I'll add the transformers ride to my list if you want, but I won't put it up yet due to my problems with the vote changing

Well with that list I only been to 1 theme park this year and that was to Alton Towers back in June. Oblivion was down for repair and Air and Rita queue was long so only coasters we got on was the Smiler,13 and Nemesis.
I am going to Drayton Manor for their Fireworks event on the 3rd Nov.

I've added transformers to the list, but am I correct in saying that we can't change our vote now?

Eventhough this isn't on the list I will say Inferno for its excellent performance this year, it seems to be more intense than usual, the music is still stunning and it's starting to become in the game with Nemesis.  ;)

Got big one and grand national there, I've never been to BPB, so could you be more specific for the others?

I'm sorry you are going to have to name the ones you want in. If not, I fear there'll be a debate about which coasters should go up/should kids coasters go on.

Another vote for Shambhala here - rode it in both daylight and night over the last few days and it blew me away!

I appreciate your post, however please save it for when the poll comes out - just to avoid hundreds of posts for the same ride.

Anybody got any new ride suggestions?
