We used to have separate forum for media related topics but as it was underused we discontinued it. It's not currently planned to return with TowersTimes Forum V3 but if we decide the demand is high enough we'll look into it.

We don't allow direct uploading for server space reasons. It is relatively easy to upload your picture by using a free forum hosting site. Just upload and direct link in your forum profile optionsAltonOctopuss wrote: Will it be easy to add photos to comments because I can not do it on this version! an add photo button that lets you search for a file on your computer would be incredibly useful
We will include a guide on our new forum

Hello Everyone.
Just a quick follow up for all of you. Work is progressing on the new forum but due to a slight technical hitch in the conversion it's taking a little longer than planned. Nothing too major though and it'll all be worked out shortly.
For those who are interested in a more detailed explanation. This forum previously used a different software to operate and was converted to our current system (SMF) from that. This has resulted in the database tables and content being slightly different to what we were expecting when beginning the conversion to the new software.
The programs we are using to make the move aren't coping too well with this so extra work is needed to manually convert some of the stuff by hand coding certain portions.
We're unsure of the exact timeframe on this but we'll let you know as soon as we have more information. A rough estimation is still within a few days and most certainly not weeks/months away!
Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately, due to unexpected teething problems, TowersTimesForum V3, will not be open today. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.Adz wrote: Hello Everyone.

Are you changing the database type at all in the change? That'll cause a huge amount of conflict.
A work around for the problem you've got is to convert all of it to the phpBB system and then into IPB (assuming that's what you're going for).
If not, let me know if you need any help with the SQL changes. I could always work on a query fix.

There's a few issues currently with changing TTF to do with the database structure. Naturally, we can't go into too much detail. However we will never give a sub standard product to our member base, so we're working hard through those issues.
But rest assured it is being worked on and the new TTF is well on its way
