Yes but my school has an inset day on the friday so other schools will still be in!

Doesn't matter how busy it will be if you can get to the park gates before they open. That way you can 2 / 3 rides on it before the park is really busy.

There are plenty of adults who enjoy new coasters too  ;)

It'll be very busy. As stated previously, The Smiler opens on the Thursday so many people will be staying over for a 2 day visit. Not only that, it's the Friday before half term so an awful lot of schools are on an inset day too.

A huge number of schools are also off Friday... probably thinking the same thing as you :) You'll want to get straight to The Smiler in the morning. A bit of good news though, maybe other rides (excluding Oblivion) will have shorter queues :)

Looking at visiting AT for the first time in a few years, either on Wed June 5th, or any day of the following week (10th-14th).

Any suggestions on which of those days is likely to be the quietest?

Thanks in advance!

Now that The Smiler is open, any thoughts on what to expect mid June? (17th-19th)
What was it like a few weeks after other big rides have opened at towers?

You belong to the smiler
Kirsty25

My reckoning is, first week or two rather quiet in comparison to now, after that you have uni students and college students that have finished for summer break and school trips so will start being busy.
