X Flight POV looking rather good tbh... Think it looks better layout wise than Swarm...

That looks pretty good actually. Even though the beginning is far too similar to the Swarm, the ride is longer and does more than the Swarm.
If only we could take the height, theme and first drop/inversion of the Swarm and combine it with the layout of X-Flight. I think that'd be a pretty good Wing Rider.

The water and mist are a nice bonus Didn't expect that.
Like I said originally I think that unlike Dollywood Six flags really understand the nature of a Wingrider with near misses and water jets. I'd say this roughly matches The Swarm in my opinion. The layout is very similar and slightly longer but The Swarm levels it with the more interesting theme.

Pretty good. Bit by the numbers, but it's better than what Dollywood are offering.
Still think Raptor is the best example of the type though.

It's clearly the most intense wingrider so far.

The mist effects do look great As do the trains (not as good as the trains on Raptor or the Swarm, but they're sleek and different).

Has anyone heard anything of Superman - Ultimate Flight. We have had no updates from it since last September...

I used to think I knew a lot about coasters, but then I joined this forum.

Obviously the theming generally isn't up to the benchmark set by Swarm and Raptor but the tower that you revolve through about halfway through the ride is really impressive!

Can't we switch the Swarm for this (but keep the theming of Swarm) and somehow shoehorn it into Thorpe Park? :P
After seeing a picture that Sam had posted on FaceyB, I simply had to know more.
Looks as though the side columns of the Superman - Escape from Krypton are being converted to hold two 400ft tall Intamin drop towers.
I knew this was a rumour, but to see their rather amazing animation is something else!

No idea - I tried searching but my Tapatalk threw nothing up. My laptop is clunking into action as we speak *smacks it against the wall* so I'm sure I'll find out in a minute!

3) If you think you've heard park news before, you probably have, and it was probably from TTF!

*Shudders* If Apocalypse can stir a movement that Shredded Wheat would be proud of, and that's with those huge, bulky restraints, I think I'd have issues akin to a litre of prune juice on this thing with those Blue Fire'esque restraints!
Fantastic idea, though! I notice they had to helicopter in the top part of the mechanisms - sure wouldn't have wanted to be one up there tightening the bolts with nothing but a harness on :-/!

This... looks... utterly... INSANE.
The only thing I hate about this, is that I can no longer claim to have ridden the tallest drop tower in the world. Balls.
