... looks really boring.
The only saving grace is what looks to be a Blue Fire-style final inline roll.

It looks good.
Mega-lite airtime, Mack seems to be a good choice (judging by the general consensus on here) and a nice inversion at the end.
It's a nice compromise coaster for a water attraction based park that is stepping into the world of rollercoasters.
You won't travel for miles for it but for what they are, it sounds like a good thing.

Add another inversion or two to that and I wouldn't mind seeing one built at Drayton Manor. Either way, it looks pretty fun.

I wasn't expecting it to go up just yet! This is early for a 2013 coaster.
It looks like they've made a good start. I love the retro name and the "borrowing" of Blue Fires colour and finale roll. The question is will this mega-lite design be any good. I really hope it is as with Mack's trains and inversions this could be a really good ride type if they get the feel right.

I'm beginning to wonder if that specific blue colour is what makes the new Mack coasters good.

Much better photo, posted by MACK:
"The next Megacoaster is on its way!"
Looks to me like the turn after the first drop, and then the first airtime hill.
"Here another picture of the construction of The Storm. Looks good so far."
Edit 2: MACK also just added this, giving a better idea of scale:

Sam, your recent posts seem to show more enthusiasm than the one aboveSam wrote: ... looks really boring.

I like the look of this coaster. As AstroDan said, it's very MegaLite-y.

When I saw the thumbnail image on Facebook Sam, my heart jumped a beat as I thought the writing at the back said England.
It looks like a great family coaster, with that last inversion just to add a little extra. With a 1.3m height restriction hopefully it will not be long before a English park invests in one.
Going off topic a little, but I just feel that this would be the perfect style coaster for Alton to invest in, as the lower heigh restriction allows more of the family to go on.

Haha, I hoped no-one would pick up on that! :PDylan wrote:Sam, your recent posts seem to show more enthusiasm than the one aboveSam wrote: ... looks really boring.

I think the initial layout graphic was kinda misleading, and made it look like a children's coaster like Manta. When actually, it's turning out to be an airtime-filled Megalite monster!
It looks great, is that definately an inline twist prior to the station or a series of small bunny hops? If its the former it should add some nice punch to the end of the ride.

I think it's clear from this image that it's an inline roll.Joelio wrote: It looks great, is that definately an inline twist prior to the station or a series of small bunny hops? If its the former it should add some nice punch to the end of the ride.
