Hi guys just been looking at the rides in the park and wondering what they looked like on opening day so I've made this topic for people to post pictures, experiences etc from ride opening day's the older the ride the better!

Well most of us have seen 'The Magic Factory', and seen Oblivion's first ride. And some of us were the 101, and/or rode TH13TEEN on launch day.

Sadly I have no personal photos or videos of any of the rides on opening day, but I can direct you to a few good pages which do and also give you the links for some TV programmes.

Wow some great videos and pictures their especially liked the Runaway train video as I hadn't seen it also the picture of Nemesis on opening day looks stunning would love to see if we can get some personal experiences or pictures that would be amazing!

One thing I notice from all the Blue Peter videos is that John only owns one jacket!
Its so weird seeing these rides being tested or just as they open as the areas around them look completely different now, espeically Nemesis which back then was just a big empty space with plenty of mud.

In some ways they looked better with no greenery. Much more raw and bold, particularly with Nemesis and Oblivion.
