Except hopefully this rollercoaster will have a bit more than a few mildly authentic lamps hanging in the station area and not have a visible warehouse style ceiling!
But yeah it really is amazing what u can do to a basic steel framework structure!

I don't think this station has a ceiling, so I wouldn't worry there!
i went to alton towers today and got some pictures, i will post tomorrow though ... got my Annual mop fair in my town ( small funfair rides in our town for the night like choas and freak out
Those pictures have made me so excited! Thankyou so much! Though the mystery section is what guests will see the least of, having the ride shrowded by so many trees will have this ride so unbelievably exciting. No other rolletcoaster in the park will match it in it's secrecy. Those swerves look so fun and full of air time. It's proxemics to the trees will make it so thrilling.
I also love how neat the coaster looks. I like neat coasters that are simply track, support, and landscape. Everything about this ride has been trimmed to offset against the wild, overgrown quality of the theme. TNT is tge only other coaster that is similar in this respect, perhaps Nemesis too. I hate flimsy looking gates and mini supports. Bold supports and neat tracks are far more pleasing to the eye.
Thanks for the comments and thanks, appreciate it. Just to add, the run down to that corner is very long so i'm guessing there will be pretty good speed down there, being downhill too. I'm very happy with what i've seen. I reckon we'll be looking at a very well themed, exciting ride. Looks good No wonder John Wardley was involved.
Thanks for those pictures! Its the one thing I've wanted to see most in respect to the construction!
Some of those turns look amazing - the way its hugging the ground in places as well looks fantastic. It's going to be a brilliant section of the ride in my opinion!
To me, this looks like some sort of sick love child that is spawned from the latter half of the Ultimate and Eagles Fortress, the insane "through the Tree's" Suspended coaster in Korea that so many enthusiasts are obsessed with! Whilst not huge, from the first drop it seems that those curves are gonna be taken at quite some speed, and a high speed + close trees will lead to that "out of control" feeling that scares the crap right outta ya! I think this is gonna pack quite a punch.
Is this a public area you took pictures from that I can visit next week, or is special clearence required
It's a pretty small pic. you probably saw it a lot better than we did on here could you tell us what the world's first element is?
I think it's pretty obvious to say that he's being sarcastic, especially with the 7 lol smilies.
Correct Matt.C
Great pics there Barryzola does the track in the woods go anywhere near
where Boneshaker / 1001 Nights once stood?
It would be great on Scarefest in the future if lighting was used through out the woodland wouldn't it. Red and green lighting would look good don't you think?

Whatever the weather outside it\'s always tropical at Cariba Creek
Well as I said to Moley earlier, this ride come Scarefest could be a huge hitter in the lighting/sense area. If you pumped mist/dry ice around the floor following the track in the woods, then used Black/UV lighting, or green mod lighting, it could be one of the best rides ever seen. Also, for an added effect, add some lighting to the trees, and use some strobing to create lightening effects when you go round a corner, and some good deep bass filled soundtrack, if planned right we'd be talking enough to crap all over Fright Nights and hopefully SAW: The Ride.
Oh come on guys, stop pretending those pictures didn't make you sorta dissapointed.
I was expecting the woods bit to have at least something resembling a mega-lite layout, with tight helixes and airtime hills. Not just forceless, swooping drops and turns like this that look like a Mack YoungSTAR...

Totally agree. No need to be OMG! HOW AMAZIN!, because quite frankly... it isn't. Its two gently sloping hills, in fact the first thought that came into my head was a Go Gator.
I was expecting some nice sharp turns and drops into trenches, however this is pretty mediocre.
The layout of this section has pretty much been known since the plans came out, so why the disappointment when...it looks exactly like the plans said it would?
