If there was going to be water in the trench, they'd have lined it with concrete before putting the track in.
Yup, and that was the first thing that came to mind when I was trying to justify the theory, but there are methods of waterproffing the trench for a water feature even with the track up. These days they can spray the concrete on. I am not convinced it is going to have water in it, it is just there were a few clues that suggested it.

Think the painting is just where the track has been scraped or knocked. We don't want our brand new shiny coaster looking all battered before its even finished do we? [-X

And what the heck is this

I'd guess that they're spare lift hill motors although I wouldn't like to guarantee it, it's not all that clear from the angle the picture was taken at.

Fans for some sort of wind effect inside the building?
Probably not... I imagine all the inside stuff is not here yet or hidden (for construction in the closed season), from the lack of track in the car park.
I would love some effects like that though.
Damn... hurry along March...

I think it is about 2.08m shorter than corky. Correct me if I'm wrong. Look forward to seeing photos of the completed lift. Wait did you say it's been completed . Already. Gosh they're working fast.

What I seem to fine interesting is the fact that they have now put the framework up over the area with the hole. Yet, they have not placed any track within the building. Now unless they are planning on sliding it in further on down the line after hydraulics have been installer I can't see why they would be building in this order?

Its good to see track construction going up so fast!
I have a feeling AT may want to have construction finished ASAP
mainly because they might want to test the 'worlds first'
make sure it works properly so opening can run as smoothly as possible.

I think it's pretty obvious to say that he's being sarcastic, especially with the 7 lol smilies.
