^ It's £5 for a poster and £10 for a T-shirt, and then there's a delivery charge which was 50p for the poster I've ordered. :)

Sorry to wander off topic slightly, but this might be useful to others :P

What's the e-mail I can order one off?

And what are the designs on the T-Shirts and Posters?

The park is closed, as you are aware - and nobody has access to the site. Maybe, if Alton Towers are reading this, they could do us a favour and take some, and send them in...

After documenting the ride for so many years (with all of what they've saved being on display last Sunday from construction archives and similar stuff) it'd be a shame if they didn't document it's removal really. Although, I'm guessing it won't look much different from Tornado which was brutally cut apart.

I was just browsing the main Alton Towerss site and at the top of the home page it say's "Alton Towers Resort to offer ultimate Corkscrew memorabilia - watch this space". It must be diffrent than the t shirts and posters, what do you all think this will be. :D

My money is on bits of the ride, most likely the trains. It's definitely ultimate enough and wouldn't be available until after the ride closed so it all makes sense.

Hopefully we'll get some confirmation on what happens to the rest of the ride too...

I bet on little chunks of metal from the ride. They could sell these off way over scrap value and the bits they don't sell just scrap. Please Alton!

They should melt down bits of the track and make mini Corkscrews out of it.

Whatever this exclusive merchandise is like i'm only going to buy it if they can guarentee to me that it will be delivered in some form of decent box or something instead of brown paper and some sellotape.

Did'nt someone mention a few pages back that links from the chain lift would be a good idea? I couldn't think of anything else they could sell, unless a cross-section of the tubing from the track.

I'd love a train but I don't think they'll sell one/I haven't got enough money for a Vekoma train.

I would love to by one of the seats. I would turn it in to an office chair.

Ooh interesting stuff! I reckon it will be bits of the Lift hill chain, I mean it would be so easy to do, and they could charge a lot for it. I'll probably buy whatever thay are, as the Posters and the T-shirts didn't appeal to me.

Then again it could just be a rusty bolt or something, but I don't think they think enthusiasts are complete suckers :P

:D

I will definitely buy a piece of Corky if AT do sell special memorabilla.
