Mayhem Meetup - Sat 27th May (Planning and Reports)

Finally got a moment to post my little report! It was my first taste of the TTF experience and I loved every minute

I wont go over what everyone else has posted about but the best and worst parts of the trip were all on friday night! Walking 5 miles back to the hostel, past the chained oak, getting lost on an abandoned railway and falling down cliffs and waterfalls was by far the scariest thing I have done! The expedition even almost brought Evil Cod down in tears due to the fear of getting cursed by an old beggar! The best part was actually stepping inside the hostel! I dunno if I wanted to laugh or cry, so kinda did a bit of both lol!

On saturday, you know the stories already but I just wanna say thanks to kelly (the new one) for causing me so much worrying by making me think she had lost my car keys that she stole and wouldn't give back! Evil person :P

Camping on saturday night was great! Due to sharing a tent with Evil Cod and Stoky, I didn't get much sleep because of worrying about being used as a play toy, with cod boys massive rocket and stokys evil chucky care bear! Oh and taking about 4 hours to get to tesco was so much fun lol!

So to sum up my first TTF adventure, it is one big face ache with so much laughter! Definately coming back for more

Had an amazing time. Loved Splash Landings on friday and im now planning my next stay

great to meet up with everyone again and its been such a laugh. Really tired now any way so not going to post about everything that happend.

Ow btw those chavs in that pic a few pages back are from my school lmao, i noticed them as they passed us.

I would rite a report but it seems everybody has covered it. I would just like thank sazzle for showing me the gardens and for those in the oblivion queue for calming me down after my little panic session

Ok my highlights from this weekend seeing as I can't be bothered to do a full trip report.

Friday night Craigs Birthday Splash landings

- Having like 14 people squashed into one room and getting squashed and being hot but it was just so fun
- Meeting the two Marks absolute legends their just brilliant
- Me and Jade having a good laugh while the others were in Flambos she's such a nice girl
- While Craig did scouse cam Ant decided to knock over a pint of beer
- Craigs dare for Mark to buy a pint of beer for him and he did it

- Ant and Craig licking beer off the floor
- Mark hanging from one the beams on the ceiling upside down by the bar
- Evil Cod being a tad merry and talking to me about a load of rubbish
- Us lot all dancing round the lamposts
- Dancing on the table and the security came
- Ben being a tad merry decided to drag me on stage by my stomach and start dancing I was so embarrased
- Evil Cod and Ben just basically taking the mic out of me
- Ant swinging WKD round all over the place without realising
- My debate about me being innocent to Evil Cod and Ben
- Basically us all singing and dancing and just having a really good time

That was a brill night really enjoyed it I hope Craig had a good birthday

I had a absolutly fantastic time this weekend! Was Brillant! I d like to thank Uncle Dan and Marky for the card, Ray for the half eatten box of quality streets and Ant and Sammie for my best presents of Everton fone holder, everton cup and everton card :W And of course kaycees lovely pressys :W and bengerman for the Beer :W

Was such a funny weekend, i really had such a laugh and it was a great Birthday. Uncle Dan and Marky.com are soooooooooooo fantastic its unbelivable, they made me laugh so much and they really did make the weekend for me. I would go into everything they did that was crazy but i think ill leave one thought of Uncle Dan aged 36 splashing like a kid aged 8 in the CC juccuzzi and getting told off by lifegaurds and making numerous people leave :W

There was so many funny moments that i cant go into them all it was just one giant fat laugh!

But now im going to just say Flambos from getting caught filling a carry bag with stolen goods for a joke and getting caught. Uncle Dan danceing with the member of staff. Staff who spoke fook all english got orders took ages poor service. Nick looseing his wallet no it wasn't me . Then just generally messing about putting chocolate into drinks etc.

Today was great too, Uncle Dan was on top form again today! In the Rita queue we got to the front and the girl asked for anybody in a 1 in the queue, and to which point Mark steps up and says "let me introduce you to the single rider queue" to the ride host.

One other thing to report today, Corkscrew stalled!

I wish i had said this too them on sunday before i left, i said it in a text as i left. But i want to say infront of everyone that Marky and Uncle Dan (Mark) are absoutly top blokes. The kindest, golden hearted, funniest blokes you'll ever meet. I had series convos with them as well as just plain silly and funny, its the best way to be. In there 30's but 15 at heart. Love them

I can't remember much about what order we did all the rides in and everything, so I'll just do my highlights

> Marky, Uncle Dan, Craig, Williscroft, Kaycee and I having a big water fight in CC, splashing people in and outside the pool (including the lifeguard :P )
> Me, Sammie and Jay walking to the loos at the campsite and Jay seeing a Woman on the loo shouting "Shut the door!", after her child left the door wide open!
> Sitting in the front of Marky and Marks van on the campsite, with Sammie and Mark (Uncle Dan)
> Me and Sammie having a laugh when everyone was in Flambos
> When I first met everyone in Ben and Jons room
> Craig, Ant and Ben doing 'Scam' (Scouse Cam) and Ant knocking a drink over, and then being dared to lick it back up again, afterwards saying "It tastes like Mr.Sheen!"
> Meeting Wayne in Kaycee and Craigs room

What a fecking great weekend. I've got severe theme park face and have had it for two days now, my hair hasn't been brushed since Saturday night when I lost my brush, and the damn rain made my hair wavy for the majority of the time, but OH MY GOD, it's been so funny.

Highlights:

Redcoat Jase getting a lurrrrvely first impression of me as I stormed into Ben and Jon's room in Splash Landings ranting angrily about an encounter I had with someone for a good two minutes at Craig sat on the top bunk before realising Neil and Jase had arrived and were a bit. . .scared?

Getting no service outside Flambo's on Friday night. So Uncle Dan went round the counter and pretended to hand out menus and check us in - LMAO, then he got caught. "Can I help you?" ROFL.

Flambos - hilariously funny, just general TTF immaturity. Ant doing what Ant does and finding a kindred spirit in Uncle Dan. And no, nobody was going to steal any salt shakers or cutlery, it was just innocent larking about! But bloody funny.

Night in Ma Garritas - Uncle Dan on the beam, banter on the patio and security coming to see what the noise was. Ade, Wayne and sab0tage had joined us, and that was niiiice.

The Rita pose. :W First go on Rita on Saturday morning, and my on-ride photo showed me with my hand clamped to the top of my head trying to prevent me losing my headband and one arm extended out to the side. It sparked many copy-cat imitations on rides such as Rita, Oblivion, the Flume, RMT etc.

Sellotaping Ant to the beam in the Courtyard. Inspection of my rather large bag showed that I had a roll of sellotape (left over from present wrapping, argh), so we decided to tape Ant to the beam - so yeah, to the person who said they saw us doing that - that was me taping Ant up HAHAHA, it was so funny.

"Mr. ******, GET BACK IN THE OFFICE, I WILL DEAL WITH YOU LATER, YOU NAUGHTY BOY. You shouldn't be creating magic, you should be spreading the resort feel, now bend over!" - Ant being funny .

CROFTY! There was an employee in the UgLand/Cred Street area who looked like a cleaner or something. He was the SPIT of Crofty. He was a tanned Crofty, and looked a little like the BFG. Everytime we saw him, we'd whisper among ourselves and point and laugh quietly - he wasn't within earshot but he'd sometimes look at us at the same time, and I was a little sorry for him in case he thought we were laughing AT him.
Anyway, towards the end of the day we were on the grassy bank outside Cred St McDonalds and Uncle Dan and Craig picked me up - baring my whole ass to people behind us. Everyone's like 'HAHA WE CAN SEE YOUR ASS' and as they set me down, I turn around and Crofty's there laughing at me - he'd carry on walking, then he'd look back at me and laugh! HOW DARE HE. I stopped feeling sorry for him then. *crosses arms indignantly* :P

Ant's 'Tourettes'. A couple of times, he suddenly throw his arms in the air, spin round (usually with someone RIGHT behind him in the queue) and shout 'W*NKER!", scaring them to bits. And then he got Alton Towers related Tourettes and would shout 'f*cking Swans!", or "Congo Riv.I mean GRAND CANYON RAPIDS!"

Camping - HOW funny. "ASK ME SOME QUESTIONS!" LMAO. Me and Ant messing about with night vision on the camera. Ant's face in my crotch for ages LMAO. Ant's dare to me. "Kaycee, Kaycee, I DARE YA to pour some of that petrol on Dstone and. . .and throw a match on him". His eyes lit up and he laughed LMAO, it was so funny. Ant constantly making references to how I always egg him on - "I DARE YOU! Ant, Ant! DO IT AGAIN *high-pitched giggle*"

Me having to wee round the back of a car after copious amounts of alcohol in the Marks' van. Jay didn't realise what I was doing and shone the torch on me, prompting much screeching and indignation from me. Then Nick! Just before I went to bed, I went for a wee, and Nick didn't realise what I was doing as it was so dark, and came right up to me - me with no trousers or knickers on one leg! I covered myself up and went 'Nick! Nick, NICK! I'm having a wee!" LMAO. Classy lady. 8)

Sunday was great - Ant nearly pushed Dstone in the lake next to the Splash Karts - we were walking along the path and suddenly Ant just pushes Dave right down - he didn't go in and I have no idea how, I was sure he would go in - if it had been anyone else, they'd have been in, but Dave can put up a hell of a fight and just missed it - but it was brilliant.

Uncle Dan just being naughty the whole time.

Getting a shout out from the Nemesis DJ - Adam - "TTF are in the queue! And took my request for Nemesis music - playing Grease round Nemesis just wasn't right! Nemesis turned gay!

Getting stuck on the Oblivion brake run for a while and getting absolutely soaked in the rain - also Matt (towersart) getting the Oblivion ride op to give me my own special shoutout over the tannoy.

Ant getting shoved in his own SkyRide gondola, and later, the same thing happening to me. Then we got stuck for 15mins and I was all alone. I didn't dance around like Ant did though lmao. Nor did I flash my belly at all passing gondolas like Jay.

Me and Saz going on Ripsaw three times in a row and getting absolutely soaked! It was funny cos I'd gone round all day with my coat over my head to stop my hair getting wet and thus curly, and Saz had gone on the Flume with her mac on, but we decided we'd gotten a lil wet, so might as well just go for the full whammy. LOVED IT lmao.

Nick's Air picture this morning.

Last night, me Craig, Marky, Uncle Dan and Williscroft decided to stay an extra night - WHAT A CHARADE. Trying to find a Travelodge - ended up closer to Drayton Manor. Had such a laugh.

All the NAUGHTY jokes. lol.

I'm sure there's more, but I can't recall them all.

Would like to mention Adam, Chris and Tom who were on Nemesis on Sunday - they were great, keep up the customer interaction! Also, the guy working in Spooks R Us on Sunday was lovely, asked me how my day was and actually managed to sound sincere. . .unlike miserable SkyRide ops.

Also a shout out to Leon on the Runaway Mine Train on Sunday - we recognised him from our 'excuse me, where's the ThunderLooper?' prank that was caught on video last Fireworks (watch Crofty's fireworks vid http://www.croftybaby.co.uk, click TTF vids), and he recognised us after Uncle Dan asked him again! LMAO. He's lovely.

Down points: Very quickly - Mine and Craig's room at Splash Landings were crap - we got no remote control for the TV, no keyboard, no goodie bag with priority passes/inflatables etc, the bath was dirty, we were only given a half full bottle of Imperial Leather shower gel. NOT worth £114 (inc AP discount!). Food at Flambo's was mediocre, and supplies weren't stocked regularly - I loved the salmon and went to get some more only to find I couldn't. . . kept an eye out and it still wasn't restocked - my first plate was busting with food, my second plate had two items on, what does that say. . .Service was quite crap, foreign workers couldn't understand what we said, they mucked up the drinks orders.

Breakfast the next day in Flambo's - bacon and sausages were nearly cold, the beans were hard.

Also, Cred St McDonalds staff need sorting out! I waited ten minutes today to get some chips, got halfway through the queue and walked out because the staff were going at a snails pace. When there are eight queues to the door, they need to pick up speed! It was so annoying and I could see lots of people getting annoyed, so I walked out - wasn't waiting another ten minutes, only to wait another two while they got my chips.

He somehow managed to defy all the laws of physics by avoiding ending up in the lake.

Quite how I havent worked out yet, but I'm on the phone to Stephen Hawkins as I write, so an asnwer soon in a quantum physics sort of way.

Certainly a heart stopping moment watching him head toeards a certain drenching.

Im really shocked myself he diddn't go inmaybe he will think twice about trying to get everyone in the lake in future. Guyssssssss Dont muck about :P .

Another Higlight for me was the Flume boat when me Marky, Uncle Dan and Kaycee sellotaped ourselves together all the way round and not forgetting when the flume music was off and asking the ride op to switch it on GOD THATS ALL TAKES TO FLICK A LITTLE SWITCH IN THE MORNING NOT HARD.

And Maccies Uncle Dan telling me to get in the kids highchair thing running round Cred Street macdonalds with me in it and hearing somene saying Thats an insult to children.
