Oh! The first shots of a new Mack launcher since Blue Fire. I hope this works out in spite of my concerns it will be a little on the slow side.

Here's an amazingly irritating American woman presenting a piece about the track installation. Posted by Mack on Facebook.

That is unbelievably beautiful and perfect in every way. The most gorgeous rollercoaster train ever built.

Mack are really taking over from B&M in terms of the highest build quality and the most beautiful manufacturer.

This is really starting to feel much less like just a cheap version of Orlando's!

It looks lovely an all, but my god, its taking an age to get built!

Shambles is going to get finished before this, and they started this waaaayy before they started on Shambles!

Something interesting that I’ve noticed about SeaWorld/Busch Gardens is that they never copy major rides between their parks. They quite often open similar rides with similar themes but they’re never clones.

A good example of this is Journey to Atlantis. There is one at every SeaWorld but they all differ in design and even model. Now we have two Mantas. One is a fairly high thrill B&M Flying Coaster. The other is almost a polar opposite Mack ride, presumably more family friendly.

I respect that they do this as it shows they have a good idea of each parks different needs. It certainly makes following this very interesting as it’s a completely different take on the concept.

They would copy rides (They tried with Journey to Atlantis) but the planning restrictions on the parks prevent them from doing so.

Orlando can build pretty much anything it likes whereas the other parks can't. Mostly due to height restrictions, this new Manta is at the parks maximum allowed height limit.

Well that blows that theory out the water :P  Still I do stand partially to that statement as the Busch parks don't tend to just copy rides either. Take Cheetah Hunt and Verbolten. Two similar ride types but completely different manufactures and unique selling points. Then you look at their other coaster and while they are the same types of ride and with very similar theme they always try and trump the one which came before.
