We're coming close to revealing our teaser, who here would be interested in seeing say, a sneak preview of Th13teen's freefall drop element?

Here we go then, TheCodeMaster has spent today and yesterday working hard on Th13teen's drop sequence, complete with lights and fully reversing trains! What you see here in this video is all in simulator footage, no video editing has been done! Enjoy

Haha that's awesome. Can't wait til this is finished, since I live 4+ hours from AT it can be a mini trip :P
How detailed is it going to be eventually? Just the ride areas modelled or the gardens and everything? I don't know the limits of NL2.

Project Towers is not just the rides, or the Towers, this is the entirety of Alton Towers Resort. Monorail, car parks, hotels, mini golf included! Everything is interactive, with the unfortunate exception of everything east of Splash Landings Hotel. Due to the limited map size on NoLimits 2, we can't fit ATH, EV or TTQ into the walk around area.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback on our breakthrough with TH13TEEN. But always remember that everyone's working on something, so there's almost always going to be something new to show you! As such, Dave's got another video, this time featuring a FULL POV of Air as it currently stands! Find the video here!

Time for another roundup from around the park, to show how things have been shaping up in the various areas. We've got Air, Dark Forest, and X Sector to show off! PLUS, join us from the 13th-16th of September, when myself, coaster-inc, Dave and Boz are meeting up at Alton Towers, for collecting data around the park, and general geeky fun! We'll be updating live on Twitter over those days, so be sure to follow us @ATP_NL2

Our plan is to evolve the project as the real ATR does, so in answer yes, we'll be adding in the enhancements to air and it's shop, in fact, the current landscape is taken directly from the first plans that were released for the enhancements. The whole team predicts that once information pertaining to SW8 begins to become public, we're all going to be focusing heavily on sorting that area out
As rides are added and removed in reality, so shall it be in Project Towers. So once Blade is retired by Alton Towers for example, we shall be taking it out of our park.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words on this, it means a lot to see we're appreciated for what we're bringing to everyone! With the version 2.2 release of NoLimits 2 on it's way soon, we're going to be making some massive improvements to the project with it, including:
Improved crosstie spacing on ALL the coasters
New trains for The Smiler with the 1st Gen Gerstlauer Infinity coaster being a new feature
Optimizations of all scenery and ambient occlusion on trees
Incredibly powerful systems will no longer be required to run the project, with NoLimits 2 now supporting DirectX 11, though we still advise you have something high end at this current stage.
We're very excited to bring these changes as it'll make a massive jump forward in realism to a lot of features around the park. Watch this space once the new update is released, we'll have lots to show!

Thanks to a brilliant program called Speedtree, Dave's been able to produce these awesome trees, turning what started as just a base plan, from a landscape, into a lush environment. Enjoy a couple of screenshots whilst we continue to prepare for the meet that's almost upon us now
