Boarded Strawberry Train and entered park 1140am. Went to Box Office and relatives got Merlin Passes. Happy we’ve got passes :) we left box office @ 1215pm. Entered Dark Forest @ 1235pm after sky riding it over there! Queues were quite big so had a stroll round the gardens. Was a great experience not been down in the valley for years it was even nicer in the Staffordshire Sun :D .
Arrived over at FV @ 140pm and boarded Nemesis at 150pm :D 5 MIN QUEUE! This was going to be a good afternoon / day :) . After boarded Air @ 215pm 10min queue. Then a 2nd go on Nemesis at 230pm.
Left FV 250pm and rode Duel. After this rode RMT @ 315pm 10 min queue. Saw new ice kart in Katanga Canyon will be useful during hot summer days! Got to Towers Street 330pm. Loved the AT Ice Cream van never seen this before! Had a snack and drink from corner coffee and headed to XS. Oblivion was down when we entered at 410pm with a member of staff up top but no shuttles in sight.
Oblivion soon reopened so had 1 go on it and left XS. Rentered DF @ 430pm and rode Thirteen twice which was WALK ON! :D :D :D :D Then rode Rita 15min queue Rides closed 500pm. So strolled back to Towers Street had a quick look in Towers Trading and left park 5:45pm and walked to Car park.

Great day on park gardens were brilliant :) and was impressed with ride count considering we were on park for only a few hours :) .
Counting down to next visit in late June (may go before!)
Will post some pics later this wk :)

You count Monorail as a ride?

Anyway, yeah, Sunday was unexpectedly quiet. We got in just after 9 for a bit of ERT, and left around 4.30pm and managed to accumulate the following:

Oblivion x 4
Nemesis x 3
Rita x 3
Thi3teen x 2
Air x 2
Sonic Spinball
Duel
Runaway Mine Train
Congo River Rapids
Marauder's Mayhem
Squirrel Nutty

Then went back on Monday until just after 2ish and did...

Oblivion x 3
Rita x 2
Th13teen
Nemesis
Sonic Spinball
The Flume
Duel
The Blade
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Monday was far busier than Sunday, and over the 2 days the only notable breakdown was Skyride for an hour or so on Monday morning (about half hour after it'd opened!)

A good couple of days! And I'd highly recommend staying at Farley Cottage if you're a long way from Alton (as I am). £60 a night, but it's literally 25 feet from the park entrance, so we effectively 'gained' £12 back from not having to pay parking fees. Well worth it.
