Yush, we all saw you walking to air! Very amusing to say the least, i believe one comment made by someone on Team Air was "Wow they are paying £60 to do that and we get paid to do it!" Did you see us?

Amusing, im sure it was lots of fun though none the less, ooo yes piccies asap.

Any interesting news etc etc?

Still uploading pics, it was a fantactic day. I was the one that pointed at you in the Nemesis Station when moving out and shouted Titler at you.

Very funny to see Wortho in a Policemans uniform  And also Noddy on Nemesis climbing the lift to our train which had stopped :P

I must say right now, to all of those who attended, what James Paulding said, and what actually happened, is very different :P

Lol! I wondered who that was! You buggers, that was like the 3rd time that day, it was an awesome day today, well worth the hilarity. Same with tomorow, i know! PC Plod! He he he.

How far into the tent did you go? And what did you hear about the future?

Nick

We went all the way to the lift. Got told nothing new next year, lots of various plans regarding the future but all in a very early stage, its really just ideas being generated. 3 nights of fireworks for definate, and again, all future plans in ideas stage, although they will probably have a pretty good idea of what they want!

Anyway, Pics now uploaded in my first post. . . . . enjoy :)
AstroDan

Excellent Black Hole pics, 10/10 there.

You should let RCDB know and have some of them put onto there!

Very odd they kept a Swan. Thought they sold them - there's one in a garden in Wetley Rocks!

Its a Swan and a half. The front end of another in sat on top

Best part of the day for me was spending a good 20 mins in the Black Hole tent, something very unique for this one tour! Although anybody going on the future tours will really enjoy it and learn quite a lot!

Also got told today regarding an Oblivion re-paint is that it would be over £100,000. And the main problem with the black paint is the heat that it generates during the hotter months causes problems for the ride.

Those cars in the warehouse are the Zodiac cars from Thorpe in the Tussauds Studios North buildings

Great pics Nick.

Just a quick q, do they close the ride then for your to go behind the scenes, because I remember reading that it was a normal day for the park. . .

Shame about Blivvy, hopefully it will still be painted black though!

So that's a no on the repaint then :x. Bad desicion, it looks awful!

£100,000 - hardly a lot for Tussauds. Regenerates heat causing ride problems - wow, what a great way the lie about why the ride was so tempromentle in the beginning. Pretty pathetic accuse.

The trips sounded very good though. Hoped you all enjoyed who went :).

WOW looks like you had a good day Nick, can't believe you guys got to go in the tent! Thats well not fair! you got some good pics there, well done mate :D

So being as though this was a behind the scenes tour, did you actually manage to get to view anything more behind the scenes in action? As in, you went in the Rita and Hex operation cabins, im guessing you did this after the park closed, so did you get to see them press any buttons? Have a quick go at the launch button yourself? :P

Did you actually get to go round the whole of Duel without the lights off?

Glad to see you got a little bit of info of them too - And I thought you were shy about asking questions Nick! Shame to hear about the Oblivion re-paint though, perhaps they should of thought about that when they were planning it! Anyone know how long the new lick of paint would last? How long was it before it started looking really grey and minging?

I hope for their sake none of the behind the scenes tour guests heard them - not very professional to mock people who've paid a lot of money for such a tour.
