Mine would have to be the Black Hole, it was just a AT legend, and everyone knew this ride as one of the AT greats!
Lets have your opinions, and reasons for your choice!
Best Retired Attrraction ever!
I think mine is the black hole too! my reason is because it was really cool in the darkness!

Surely it has to be Thunder Looper?? I never got to ride it coz i was too small but its legend lives on to this day.
My personal favourites would be Black Hole and Round the world in 80 days.

The swans. Alton Towers symbol! Everything that Alton Towers stood for. A magical ride! Demolished by a £3 rubber dinghy! What were they thinking!
BRING BACK THE SWANS...BRING BACK THE MAGIC!!!

I agree, they were so iconic and have been swapped by cheap boat things Not a good move Alton!!
Has to be Thunder Looper, which by the sounds of older members could of rivalled Nemesis in popularity to this date infact. With a bit of modern themeing is would be so better suited to Forbidden Valley than Ripsaw & Blade. I guess it was a real nussence though, not an Oblivion affair.

Got to be Thunder Looper. For the sheer thrill, speed, and air time, all in a matter of seconds it took to complete the ride. Not only that, the thru-put of the rdie was excellent, you even went through the largest of queues pretty rapidly.
The black hole does come a very close second though.

Dynamo was always great fun, and normally had a nice short queue
ThunderLooper and BlackHole were both classics that should never have left the park/gone SBNO. Both had a mark of quality that epitomised Alton Towers, and are iconic of the park. TL may only have been in operation for 7 years, but it was a part of the park, no doubt about it
