Got an idea of how the Alton Towers Resort may develop over the coming seasons? Discuss it here.

saw this and thought could be a good option to revamp enterprise and help it fit in with Smiler ;)
I had a similar idea to that and posted it in may but it was buried. Still think it would be a good idea.

I doubt it's going, a lot of money was spent on it during closed season.

Today I did see all the carts removed from the wheel.. Is this the end for our old friend?

It would be a silly idea to repair it then remove it

A vast amount of parts will be 'off the shelf' nuts and bolts available easily from a vast amount of suppliers. Any specialist pieces will be machinable parts. Someone, somewhere will be able to create new ones - especially seeing as there are a number of Enterprises still in service worldwide.

Personally I can't bare Enterprise. For me it's sole purpose is to help expel anything you ate that you want to get rid of. Still, if Alton are prepared to spend money on it, as they have this year, it obviously still serves a purpose and won't be leaving any time soon.

It was working when I went on the 11th oh July  :)

I never used to like it but for some reason the other day I decided it would be a fun time waster while we wated for 3.00 to go on Rita (fastracks weren't valid till then) and I must say this. I found it very fun. I have no idea why but, I think it's because there was nobody infront and I was alone in a car, everytime I came back down from the top I slipped to the froent of the car. On the way back up I slipped back to the sctual seat, for some reason I found this very amusing and when I went to pick my bag up I was so dizzy I walked into the ride attendant!  :D I was in hysterics with my friend when we got off. From now on it will be high up on my list of rides I must go on, along with Ripsaw where my legs flopped backwards where it slowly turns you round.  :D

enterprise just needs to be brought up to the theming of the smiler It's not ready for a replacement after receiving closed season repairs. I think it still has some power in those old legs

It think I should be replaced with a ride that's small like detonator or a smiler themed scare maze? :D

people are not getting the fact that in the close season, it had a load of money spent on it being refurbished, So I think 2019 at earliest to be removed (wild guess tbh, but because of refurb...)

I have no real strong views on enterprise, but as far as I'm aware, it's well worth keeping, especially with refurb (haven't been since refurb yet, though)
