Are the inline twists the same as those on Collosus? If so, it will have to go throught them fairly slowly as Collosus does?
Yes, and no. Inline twists aren't exactly fast inversions, but collosus goes through them very slowly in comparision to, let's say... nemmy's zero-g (same thing) which is rather fast.
Until someone can expalin to me what else those twists in the track are then in my view, they are inline twists!

If the plans we have seen are accurate, and the speed correct then the train would probably be entering an inline twist at well over 40mph, and unless it has a corkscrew element to it I would have thought it would be very uncomfortable! Its going to be very interesting to see this all unfold

If you take a look on the plans with the blue dots marking out the track, the launch track which is just a flat straight length of track has just one single row of dots along it, and if you take a look at the parts we are thinking could be inline twists they are also marked out with a single row of dots, making me think its just the flat section of track between the transition of the curves.

Maybe it means the cars are on their sides (banked turn)! But saying that... it would mean the launch was on its side :P Now dat would be differentIf you take a look on the plans with the blue dots marking out the track, the launch track which is just a flat straight length of track has just one single row of dots along it, and if you take a look at the parts we are thinking could be inline twists they are also marked out with a single row of dots, making me think its just the flat section of track between the transition of the curves.
What a fad.
The cars will be similar to the ones on Xcellerator apparantly. I can't see this happening as they don't match the UG-LAND theme. It contradicts what the same person said about the ug-land theme staying, and then having completely different trains.
For the 20 millionth* time, as I've said for ages, Ug Land is staying, Project Rita will have a non-Ug Land type theme, and they will clash in 2005.
By the way, you know the photo that shows that there's only the Cave Games left of all the Ug Land theming? Well all the shops opposite it are still there, fully themed etc.
* It may actually be only the 3rd time to be fair, but it feels like a lot more. :P

If its going to have a worlds first element in it wouldnt the hole ride be classed as a worlds first and not a european first. : :The only thing is that its a European first But i do remember people saying there was going to be some sort of world first Element! Maybe i hit the nail on the head

If you look at the launch, there are feint lines either side of the dots. I placed the blue dots where the black dots on the original plan were. From this, I would read that the launch is different from the cross over tracks.
Having said that, I would have expected any inline twists to have a entering and exiting twist (unless you end up upsidedown :!: )
I'm sure we can be certain that the curves are definitely banked tracks but as for the crossovers, these could be anything. I'll have another look at the plan and see if there ar any other clues.

Rita has to be a booster bike, look at all the signs: Track layout (same as booster bike), Biker chick on the poster, Racing theme on the website and poster, and it'll be the first one in europe which would be true! 8)
