I still think it looks rather small!!
Life is a roller coaster. You can either scream every time you hit a bump or you can throw your hands up in the air and enjoy it.

Perhaps it just seems small in comparison to the Congo River Rapids? The location is bigger than the footprint of The Smiler I think.

Anything is bigger than The Smiler! :lol

I personally think that it's quite a small footprint, which it is, but I don't think that'll necessarily mean anything. I still think that it'll be a fun little coaster which will add to the line up. Not the best thing in the park but not the worst either! :P

The pre-lift/launch section seems to be quite nice, and hopefully there will be a few effects in the tunnel to make the experience more interesting!

Towers seem to have a history of cramming quite a lot into small areas, just look at Nemesis of The Smiler! It's very exciting to start seeing this take shape, they've made excellent progress with the ground works over the last few months.

Yay! I hope as we see the station going up, we will get a better idea of the theme of the ride, but who knows? The station is making some progress compared to the rest of the ride which I am waiting in anticipation for the construction of the wood!

They have started building wooden framework for something, most probably the station.
Sadly I couldn't get any pictures :(

It also seems to answer the question that if that camera is for Timelapse, then we can assume to see an exciting perspective of construction again, following from The Smiler.

There still seems to be nice and steady progress taking place on the construction of the Resort's wooden coaster. TowersTimes News has just published a full update of the latest progress. Enjoy :)

So it looks the station has gone vertical, it looks smaller than I thought but they've still got to build the maintence bay etc, So this is probably the start of the interior. :D

(Sorry I can't get the image, I'm on the moblie site, could someone plop the image on here please?)

Excellent, those trusses are different ones to what was on the lorry a few posts up. The photo Liam posted looks more like the kind of wood used to build the rest of the track. Maybe the other trusses are for a maintenance building or something that's not seen as they just look like cheaper pine timber.

Its so nice to see the construction taking shape! Perhaps the wood framework will also play a vital part of the theming as well?

TT Facebook have posted an update on the progress of SW8.

The wooden frames for the roof of the station appear to be complete and work is progressing around the site at a rapid rate.

I'm getting slightly confused on the layout of the track due to the supports going behind the station from the angles taken on those images.. think I need to recheck up on the layout #-o

The track does go behind the station room, presumably for a block section, before turning into the station. :)
