Trying to find more news about Phantasialand's new coaster i stumbled across this. It is set to open in 2018. Stroll in 40 hectares of HEROIC LAND
Once inside the park, cross the main aisle (Main Street) in the middle of traditional decorations of the city Calais to lead six HEROIC LAND universe:
• Seaworld, the underwater for toddlers,
• Steam Punk Fantasy, the world of Jules Verne
• Heroic-Fantasy Land, the land of the lord of the rings,
• Science-Fiction Zone, the universe and space, great feelings ,
• Manga City, Japan, modern and ancient,
• Adventurer's League, the distant lands of adventurers.

The website has concept images for every ride. It looks like it could be really good!

I have never heard of this project before, is this new? Or perhaps i just didn't realise it was happening. The first coaster looks great, similar to Furius Baco, a great style of coaster except the roughness. I'm already excited for this as it's not that far from the UK. Something to keep an eye on i suppose.
