There have been a lot of rumors in the last couple of weeks/months about a huge building site at phantasialand. there were rumors about a b&m inverter but noone believed in it, because PHL has nearly the same problems with the locals as AT has.
But now it seems clear that germany will definitely get its first B&M inverter.
Heres a link with a pic of the building site and some infos (im sorry that its in german)
http://www.coastersandmore.de/previews/ ... main.shtml

Im very excited about this because PHL is only about 20 minutes away from me. Theming is very important for PHL and i think we will definitely see a great new coaster in 2006! :)

could be possible! :)
like i said, they may not go THAT high with a coaster because of the locals.

the height restrictions can't be that bad because they've got the mystery castle drop tower which is pretty tall. good ride too. i've got a feeling this coaster could be brilliant as the theming in that park is second to none and they've already got a few good rides in mystery castle, winjas and the river rapids(best theming ever).

yeah, but you should remember that the tower is INSIDE the castle, not on the outside so that the noise level is kept down. ;)

Hmm, Phantasialand is one of the best themed theme parks in the world most probably, and with this height restriction you have said about, it does make you wonder if we will be seeing something similar to nemesis. Maybe even better with the uniqueness of that park, but i cant imagine how any B&M inverter could be better than nemesis (or Alpengeist). I wonder if/how they will make this B&M inverter great without going to high. Im sure themeing will have alot to d with it, and like you say excavation work. I wonder what the layout will be like.

Nemesis might have a bit of a competition but in a way nemesis will always be unique. It would of got there first before the new b&m. Im not saying that its not going to be better, just that nemesis has been there 10 years :)

I went to Phantasialand when i was in year 8 and its great, the themeing there is the best ive seen. I had to go round on my own as my mates didnt want to go on the rides i did. Glad to hear there getting a B&M as when i went i though its a great park with some of the best rides ive been on but it needs a major ride and a B&M will give them just that. Dont know when ill go again as i dont go on holiday so it will probably be many years yet. The hole place just seems like a different land :D

And it's supposed to be Egyptian Themed.
